Days of Holiness ~ Day 4: Hallowed Be Your Name
“Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!”
~ Psalm 103:1 NKJV
Jesus taught us to pray to Our Father in Heaven, saying hallowed be Your name!
His name being hallowed means our heavenly Father’s name is holy, sacred, and to be revered!
We are taught to ask the Father in Jesus’ name so we see a mutual honouring of the Name of the Father and the Son. There is a call from Heaven for this generation of holy ones to revere and worship the Lord’s Name above every other name.
Scripture teaches us that those who defile through abortion are said to profane His holy name. There are dire spiritual, emotional and physical consequences to legalised abortion for any reason. We as a nation have come into agreement with death and unknowingly defiled our land and profaned the holy name of our Lord through this action.
As it says in Leviticus 20:3 NKJV:
“I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.”
To profane is to blaspheme, to be irreverent, disrespectful and wicked. We, His holy nation of believers are called to bless, praise and give glory, honour and worship to His Holy Name! When we do this, we His children are sanctified by Him. We are equipped by the Holy Spirit to ask anything in His Name, and it will be done for us by our Father in Heaven.
Let us Pray:
Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Father in Heaven, thank You for the gift of prayer, that we can come before Your throne of grace to receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need. We confess on behalf of ourselves, our generational lines and our nation, the sin of defiling Your sanctuary and profaning Your holy name, in our words and especially the action of giving to Molech the babies through legalised abortion for the past fifty years.
Forgive us Father, as today we choose to forgive each other for our agreement with death and destruction of the unborn in this nation. Lord, as Your holy sanctified people, we thank You for the blood of the Lamb that cries out a better word, of mercy over us and our land. Thank You that You have forgiven us these sins.
Today as You hear this prayer, also hear the cries of our hearts to raise up Your holy nation of believers to take down the high altars in our land. Raise up Your army of the undefiled holy ones to be like Elijah and destroy the worship of other gods.
Lord, bring a spirit of repentance that we turn back to You. Let there be the greatest move of Your Holy Spirit to bring this generation to salvation today. We decree Your name is holy and sacred in this land of Australia. May Your Holy Name be honored and glorified in all we say and do. Today Lord, we choose to bless Your Holy Name and continually worship You.
In Jesus’ powerful name we pray, Amen.
Points for Prayer ~ pray for:
- South Australia’s Lower House politicians, as they holiday with their friends and families, that they be infused with truth and light of the sanctity of life — even of the unborn!
- Those on the frontline preparing for the Walk for Life, February 6th 2021 in Adelaide, South Australia.
- Our future generations to be rescued, especially little ones conceived in this holiday period; let the spirit of adoption enter the hearts of those considering abortion.
- For greater numbers of believers in Yeshua all over Australia and the South Pacific region to stand for life, and rise up in wisdom and courage to take action needed and speak for the voiceless.
To send the intended influential message to our politicians
that South Australians DO NOT want legalised abortion up to birth,
we need thousands of people on the WALK for LIFE!
It will take each of us to SPREAD THE WORD through all our networks!
