Cody Mitchell

Cody Mitchell graduated from the University of New England with a major in History and minors in Political and International Studies and Ancient History. The 2019 winner of the James Dolan Memorial Prize in History and a Vice Chancellor’s Scholar, his undergraduate research has been published by both West Point Military Academy and Georgia Southern University. In 2021, he won a scholarship to study leadership and civil society at the Lachlan Macquarie Institute.

Cody has graduate-level qualifications in marketing and digital communications from Monash University. A prolific author, his op-eds and articles have appeared in The Spectator Australia, Your Commonwealth, The Good Sauce and The Daily Declaration. He is the founder and current managing editor of History’s Page and part of the editorial team at The Daily Declaration. Cody currently serves as the media advisor for a federal senator.
