Victory is Coming — Let’s Spend Time in the Word of God
With everything we’re been facing in this world and praying for, God has been saying to me: Let’s sound the shofar/trumpets of Victory.
We Are His Soldiers Today
See Judges 7 — they didn’t rely on a physical sword with only 300 men remaining, but on the Spirit’s sword to win the battle. They blew the shofar and believed their victory had already been won.
The 32,000 soldiers were reduced to only 300 men.
God knows Who he is working with. He knows our differences. He knows where we are in our faith. After whittling down his army to only 300, God tells Gideon to go against the camp, for God has given them into his hand.
Look at verse 10: “But if you are afraid to go down…” God knows the fear Gideon has right now. “If you are afraid, go down to the camp with your servant and listen to what they are saying in the camp.” So Gideon goes down and listens to the talk in the camp. A man in the camp was telling a dream about a cake of barley bread tumbling into the camp and destroying the tent. The interpretation of the camp is that God has given Midian into the hand of Gideon.
When Gideon heard this, he worshipped the Lord (7:15). Gideon returns to his 300 with the strength of the Lord and tells them to arise, for the Lord has given Midian into their hands. Gideon is weak, but God gives him the strength he needs to obey the will of the Lord.
Scriptures
For while we were still helpless,
at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly.
~ Romans 5:6 (HCSB)But God proves His own love for us
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
~ Romans 5:8 (HCSB)For if, while we were enemies,
we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son,
then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!
~ Romans 5:10 (HCSB)But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
~ Matthew 6:33Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk,
so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.
~ 1 Peter 2:2
Every Scripture passage is inspired by God. All of them are useful for teaching, pointing out errors, correcting people, and training them for a life that has God’s approval. They equip God’s servants so that we are completely prepared to do good things. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

As America marks 250 years of independence, most know little about the document that launched the nation — and even less about why it mattered. The Declaration of Independence is a revolutionary argument that asserts that all people are created equal and that governments derive their power from the consent of the governed.

More than a decade after same-sex marriage was legalised in America, recent polling reveals public support for it — as well as for gender ideology — has declined significantly. Why? People are no longer evaluating the promises given, but the results received — and the results are changing their minds.

When two massive earthquakes devastated Venezuela on 24 June, killing thousands and displacing millions, it was Christian aid organisations that arrived before most overseas aid, with field hospitals, food, water, and medical teams. Yet Christian relief work remains largely unrecognised by a world that sometimes views it with suspicion.

Vicki Derderian was denied a heart transplant despite holding a valid medical exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine, so she sought treatment overseas — where she was deemed eligible. Fighting Australia's medical system with dignity and grace, she passed earlier this year, but her example of courage and faith remain.

Thank you for sharing Gloria, it’s important that we are mindful of our dependence on God who is mighty.
Amen sister. We always need to keep focused on God and what he says about the matter not what the world says.
