God is calling the Church to raise up pro-life advocates who are able to influence our culture for Christ, defend the unborn, and provide support to children, mothers and fathers.

As we seek to do good works, including the work to stop abortion, we must lay aside every hindrance, and run with endurance the race set before us, keeping our focus on Jesus.

Let’s be a Josiah generation, who, repenting for decades of tolerating abortion, finally make baby-killing candidates unelectable.

Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knew us before we were formed in the womb. This reminds us that each life — whether inside or outside the womb — is precious to him.

God calls us to be faithful, not successful. When we focus all our attention on Jesus — as Peter needed to do — we can rest in him and entrust the results of our prayers and advocacy for the unborn to the one who loves us.

Human worth does not depend on whether we are wanted, healthy, or independent. It comes from our Creator God.

For a long time, I thought selfishness was the root of abortion. But I’ve come to believe that behind selfishness often lies fear. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, you and I are not ruled by fear. We are ruled by love.
