Send the Rain – A Cry of the Heart Set to Music
Last year I realised how much I pray for a nice sunny day, and how little I pray for rain and our farmers in the drought. God began opening my eyes to the devastation and breaking my heart for those who were struggling.
One night I prayed: “Send the rain in Jesus’ name, send the rain. Send the rain in Jesus’ name, Lord we pray” and God planted this song in my heart.
“Send the Rain” is a powerful prayer to our God who REIGNS, to send His healing RAIN to our Aussie farmers in the drought.
Yes, I am asking for the physical rain, but I am also asking for the spiritual rain.
I have been songwriting for 10 years, and had no intention of releasing a single anytime soon, but I believe that this is a song/prayer that our nation should be lifting up together and even more so now with the fires that are raging on.
Last October I joined the Canberra Declaration in praying for Repentance, Renewal and Rain for the nation. I shared this song with the group and received such encouraging feedback:
“Anointed… prophetic… Spirit-
filled… I think it will become our anthem… you are a songwriter for such a time as this… people need to hear it…”
Here is the music video that was made by Canberra Declaration to accompany my song.
I would love you to join me in this prayer and stand in the gap between how things are and how things should be.
“Ask rain from the Lord at the time of the Spring rain — the Lord who makes the storm clouds; and He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.”
~ Zechariah 10:1

An Australian-made documentary is exposing what few are willing to discuss: babies born alive after abortion — and left to die. The documentary, titled Born Alive Left To Die, is difficult to watch. Yet this 22-minute film sensitively and unflinchingly presents the medical evidence that every Australian needs to know.

The fall of Prince Andrew reveals more than royal excess. It unveils a civilisation in retreat — one where the presumption of innocence crumbles, tribalism festers, and multiculturalism dissolves the moral foundations that once held the West together.
