Bow Low before Our Risen King as we intercede for the Lives of the Unborn of Our Nation.

“Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
~ Revelation 1:17b-19

We are in a war, and right now as the battle rages for the ‘yet to be born’ of Australia, today we battle on our knees as we humble ourselves before our King. We worship Him for He is worthy!

We are reminded in 2 Chronicles 20: When the odds were against them, they positioned themselves to seek the Lord and pray. (v 12) “…We do not know what to do, but we are looking to You for help.”

We too are positioning ourselves right now before the Lord to listen to what He is saying.

It is vital in any battle to hear what the Commander of the Army of the Host of Heaven, Jehovah Sabaoth, is saying. He told them,

“Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged … for the battle is not yours, but God’s… you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you …Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”
(v15 & 17 TLT)

Many people have been led to intercede for the unborn, and it has been accelerating in the past few years. Though the horrific full-term legal abortion bills were passed in 5 states in our nation, we do not let ourselves be lulled into a sense that it is inevitable. We do not cower in fear, but we look to the Lord: His voice always calms the storm inside us.

In the body of Christ right now, one enemy is fear, as death and destruction ramp even higher in these latest abortion bills and religious freedom is threatened. This seems incomprehensible to lovers of God as legislation and bills being presented carry death and destruction, decimating future generations.

We see King Jehoshaphat’s immediate response (v18):

“Then King Jehoshaphat bowed low with his face to the ground.
And all the people … did the same, worshiping the Lord.”

We also respond today to bow low and worship the Lord.

Even Jesus Christ bowed low before the Greatest Battle for Our Lives.
Jesus bowed to the lowest place as He suffered in Gethsemane, enduring the cross.
He gave up His life for humanity and descended into hell, taking our death and punishment for us.

“And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death,
even the death of the cross.”
~ Philippians 2:8

He overcame the grave, resurrected and ascended.

In Christ

We do not undertake this battle alone, but we are positioned in Christ.

“And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus.”
~ Ephesians 4:6 AMP

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for giving us Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
We thank You that You still fight for us, especially now as this battle rages for the yet-to-be-born Australians. Today we bow low in adoration and worship. And we say You are worthy of all praise, all glory and all honour.
We lay all fear and disappointment at the foot of the cross. Thank You that we are seated in heavenly places ‘in You’, where we have authority as the Ekklesia to say we will not allow abortion, because it is not in Heaven.
As we stand in faith, fight these Abortion bills for us, Lord. We ask You to continue to position the right people in the right places at the right time. Strengthen them to stand firm and to have Your words proceed out of their mouths, bringing Your truth to bring a shift in the mindsets of our politicians and those pushing this agenda.
In the powerful and precious Name of Jesus, Amen.

• Lord, You paid such a high price to redeem humanity; we thank You for equipping Your church to stop the mass destruction of the unborn.
• Increase awareness Lord, to the truth of the sanctity of Life in our nation.
• Even today as we humble ourselves and bow low to worship, You fight our enemies.
• Give dreams, visions and Damascus road encounters to stop those pushing for, performing or profiting from Abortions in Australia
• Shift our cultural thinking from death to life from self to You, from worldly to Kingdom.

Spend time today listening to our Father — hear what is on His heart concerning abortion in our nation.

His mercy endures forever!

Today we stand together as one in prayer and fasting for grace to:

• STOP the Greens Abortion Reform Bill from being passed in South Australia’s Parliament.
• Bring radical amendments to the existing Abortion Law in favour of life for the unborn and safeguards for mothers.
• Push Back and eventually STOP Abortion in every state and territory in Australia.
• SHIFT the culture of this Nation to the Kingdom of Heaven with Mercy, Peace, Righteousness and Justice on earth as it is in Heaven.
