Billboard Chris has arrived in Australia to take on our eSafety Commissioner in a pivotal legal battle that seeks to defend free speech and expose government overreach.

This week Chris Elston, better known as Billboard Chris, arrives in Australia for his showdown with Australia’s eSafety Commissioner.

With HRLA representing Chris in the upcoming trial, this is shaping up to be a critical moment in the defence of free speech in Australia.

Billboard Chris is known for his outspoken criticisms of gender ideology, especially when it comes to unproven medical treatments for children, and those views have put him in the crosshairs of Australia’s eSafety Commissioner.

His post about the World Health Organisation’s appointment of Australian transgender activist Teddy Cook to a “panel of experts” advising on transgender health policy resulted in censorship at the direction of the Commissioner.

The Commissioner made a complaint to X (formerly Twitter) and the post was geoblocked in Australia.

But Billboard Chris is not one to shy from speaking the truth on important issues, and he decided to challenge the Commissioner’s decision.

After much preparation, the hearing is now at hand and Chris is arriving in Australia to attend the case in person.

The stakes are high not only for Chris personally but also for all Australians.

The ability of unelected bureaucrats to censor speech that goes against a certain ideological narrative is a direct threat to the basic right of Australians to freely speak the truth, especially on contentious issues.

Over 6000 people have signed the HRLA petition to support Chris and his right to free expression.

You can also show your support by signing the petition below.

Chris will be making media appearances while in Australia. HRLA will keep you updated you on his activities as well as the hearings when they commence.

The Billboard Chris Petition

Support Billboard Chris and protect the right to speak freely and practice your beliefs without fear of government censorship in Australia.

Canadian Activist Billboard Chris did what any parent would do.

He spoke his mind about the possible harms that transgender ideology poses to kids and families.

Now, the Australian eSafety Commissioner has censored him, forcing Billboard Chris to take them to the Administrative Review Tribunal just so he can speak freely and advocate against harmful political activism.

Government overreach and censorship is a major concern for all Australians, and Billboard Chris’s case is ground zero in the fight for free speech.

What happens in this case decides how the government can control what you can and cannot say now and into the future.

This case will create a groundbreaking precedent, no matter the outcome.

Australia is at a crossroads, and only by standing up and delivering a strong message of support can we try and change this.

I SUPPORT BILLBOARD CHRIS

I support Billboard Chris and the right to speak freely in Australia.

I stand against the government’s censorship and overreach.

Billboard Chris has been forced to go to court against the eSafety Commissioner for simply making a post online that reflects his beliefs about the reality of sex and the dangers of gender ideology.

This is not right anywhere. But it’s certainly not right in Australia.

The fundamental bedrock of our democracy and our free and fair society is free speech and open debate on political issues.

Without this, the government gets to decide what you think, say and do.

We cannot let that happen.

I support Billboard Chris, and I support the right to speak freely in Australia.
