We can learn so much from Jonathan Edwards about revival. Given how much talk there is about revival at the moment, and how much interest is being shown to the various campus awakenings in the United States, and all the discussions and debates about them, [...]

Onwards and upwards for Martyn Iles. Most folks have heard the news that the head of the Australian Christian Lobby, Martyn Iles, is moving on. Or, perhaps more accurately, has been given his marching orders by the Board. That has caught most of us by [...]

If you know what is going on in Victoria, you are left with one burning question: How long before Moira Deeming is booted out of the state Liberal Party just like Bernie Finn was?

So many are now coming out admitting we were massively wrong in dealing with COVID-19. Better late than never, I suppose. Many of us have been saying for nearly three years now that the hysterical government overreactions to Covid were way over the top, unnecessary, [...]

The activities taking place in Kentucky and elsewhere continue. As I said in earlier pieces, it is really easy to find polarisation here. Some Christians love what they see at Asbury and elsewhere, believing God is fully at work. Others are ready to dismiss it [...]

Marriage matters, and women and children especially suffer without it. Many decades of social science research have conclusively demonstrated that heterosexual marriage is an invaluable social good, with benefits for adults, children and society at large. As a well-documented 2004 booklet that I was involved [...]

Reading Tozer never disappoints. His reflections on cultivating a deeper spiritual life are timely exhortations for us today. One can argue that pretty much everything A. W. Tozer wrote about or spoke about had to do with the deeper life: that is, with intimately knowing [...]
