Phil Dye
Phil Dye is an Australian educator, author, broadcaster, and musician. He taught for 16 years on the NSW South Coast before lecturing in Media at UTS and Science at UNSW. Now a neuroscience educator, he focuses on how brain science applies to teaching, learning, and memory.
He hosts two podcasts: “Philtered”, exploring culture, education, and social trends, and “Marking the Role”, a show for teachers and parents tackling the big issues in Australian education. He describes himself as “sensible”, not woke, and politically more right than left, often critiquing progressive ideologies while advocating for parental rights, biological realism, and evidence-based education.
