Wake Up Australia! The Time is Now
We pray together for our nation of Australia as the federal election approaches. May the Lord’s favour be upon us; may His will be done.
Let’s pray that God’s grace and mercy rest on our nation; that His Word once again is lifted up and honoured in our nation; that we be known as a Christian nation, a blessed nation, an envied nation, because of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray: Father, we thank You and declare that this nation is the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 2:8 ~ “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance,
and the ends of the earth for your possession.”
Pray: Father, thank You —
we ask for the nation of Australia
for Your inheritance, in Jesus’ Name.
Numbers 14:17-21 ~
And now, I pray,
let the power of my Lord be great,
just as You have spoken, saying,
‘The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy,
forgiving iniquity and transgression;
but He by no means clears the guilty,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children
to the third and fourth generation.’Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray,
according to the greatness of Your mercy,
just as You have forgiven this people,
from Egypt even until now.”Then the LORD said: “I have pardoned, according to your word;
but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
Pray: Father, we ask for mercy on our Nation in Jesus’ Name.
Let all the earth be filled with Your glory.
1 Kings 18:37 ~ “Hear me, O LORD, hear me,
that this people may know that You are the Lord God,
and that You have turned their hearts to You again.”
Pray: Father, we thank You that the hearts
of the people of this nation be turned back to You.
Matt 6:10 ~ “….Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Pray: Father, let Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done in our Nation.
Proverbs 29:2 ~ “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”
Pray: Father, we thank You that the righteous rule in this nation
and that the people rejoice, in Jesus’ Name.
1 Tim 2:1-3 ~
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority,
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.”
We have a Godly Prime Minister.
Pray: Father, I thank You that our Prime Minister and all leaders have Godly wisdom, revelation and understanding in these times, in Jesus’ Name.

Thank you for writing this article Margaret, It is deep n wise.
Its not that I agree with you in your statement of ” we have a Godly Prime Minister ” because I don’t n I do not know if he is Godly or not! My emotions tell me he isn’t…… we all know where that kind of “thinking” leads us.
Your written thoughts provided a balance which I did not even know I needed until I started to ‘feel’ very uneasy about something I had written along with my anger n disappointment with those currently in power in our country.
SoI read your article a number of times n given that I was initially irritated by it I wondered why I kept re -reading?
The Spirit of God works in the most extraordinary ways.
Thank you again n may God continue to bless you n yours.
