Trump’s WHO Exit and Other Covid Reforms
President Trump used his first week in office to withdraw the United States from the scandal-ridden World Health Organization and reverse key Covid-era abuses.
As part of his re-election bid, President Donald Trump promised to rectify Covid-era abuses. His choice of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Health Secretary and Dr Jay Bhattacharya as NIH Director were early indications he planned to make good on this promise.
Within hours of taking office, Trump offered further evidence he will fulfill his pledge by withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization. In the executive order issued to this end, the Trump administration drew attention to:
the organization’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, and other global health crises, its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms, and its inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states
Indeed, The Daily Declaration previously reported on the World Health Organization’s numerous and astounding Covid abuses, which included:
- Dismissing Taiwan’s early warnings about human-to-human transmission of Covid-19, instead repeating CCP propaganda that there was “no clear evidence” of such transmission
- Delaying a global pandemic declaration until mid-March
- Opposing travel bans by the United States against China, even as China rolled out domestic lockdowns indicating fast spread of the virus
- Praising China’s “transparency” despite clear evidence the CCP was engaged in cover-ups and censorship of doctors, journalists, and case numbers
- Repeating false claims about China’s handling of Covid-19
WHO Fiascos, Failures and Fraud
The WHO’s mishandling of Covid-19 was only the latest saga in a long history of corruption and mismanagement by the peak global health body. Consider some of the organisation’s other fiascos, failures and fraud:
- The Swine Flu Pharmaceutical Rort: In 2009, the WHO declared a pandemic with lowered criteria, leading to mass vaccine purchases. Later this move was revealed to benefit pharmaceutical companies with undisclosed conflicts of interest.
- Major Failures on Ebola: The WHO delayed declaring the 2013-2016 West African Ebola outbreak a public health emergency, ultimately allowing thousands of preventable deaths.
- The ‘Monopolistic Philanthropy’ of Bill Gates: Bill Gates became the WHO’s second-largest donor, using his political influence to shift its priorities towards his preferred projects, such as mass vaccine rollouts.
- The Appointment of a Marxist Director-General: The WHO’s Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has strong ties to a Marxist group accused of human rights abuses and the cover-up of cholera outbreaks in Ethiopia.
- Unethical Travel Expenditure: The WHO spends over $200 million annually on luxury travel, more than on major disease programs, despite frequent budget pleas for global health crises.
- The Congo Sex Abuse Scandal: WHO staff were involved in the systemic sexual exploitation of Congolese women during the 2018-2020 Ebola outbreak, even as senior officials ignored reports of the scandal.
Other Nations Follow Suit
The Trump administration’s decision to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization is more than justified. Indeed, it raises the question why any Western government claiming to uphold human rights would remain part of the global body until it undertakes major reforms.
In the days since America’s withdrawal from the WHO, other nations are considering a similar move.
Italy’s deputy prime minister has proposed a bill to withdraw his country from the organisation, while Kenya’s director of health has indicated his country’s plans to explore new health partnerships in the wake of the decision. Australian senator Ralph Babet has likewise urged the Australian government to follow America’s lead in leaving the WHO.

Trump’s Week One Covid Actions
Amidst the whirlwind of activity that took place during Trump’s first week, the new administration made a range of other bold moves to reverse the abuses of the Covid era. President Trump:
- Rescinded a suite of Covid-era executive orders issued by President Biden, along with a memo forcing the Covid-19 injection upon federal workers
- Reinstated 8,000 military members who were dismissed for refusing the Covid-19 injection, also granting them full back pay
- Appointed John Ratcliffe as CIA Director, who swiftly made public an analysis launched under the Biden administration that confirms Covid-19 came from a Wuhan lab
- Appointed Matthew Memoli as acting head of the National Institutes of Health — a veteran infectious disease researcher who was critical of America’s response to Covid-19
- Issued an executive order ending federal government censorship of constitutionally protected free speech in the name of combatting “misinformation” and “disinformation”
- Stripped notorious Covid racketeer Dr Anthony Fauci of his $15 million taxpayer-funded security detail, explaining “Fauci made a lot of money” from taxpayers and he could hire his own security
🚨 OMG. Trump on stripping the security detail away from Anthony Fauci and John Bolton…
REPORTER: Would you feel responsible if something were to happen to Fauci or John Bolton?
TRUMP: No. They all made a lot of money. They can hire their own security too. All the people… pic.twitter.com/4vNEFQy2Zo

The Trump administration’s actions send a clear message: global organisations must reform or risk losing their most powerful members. More importantly, through his quick succession of reforms, Trump announced to the world that the fight for medical freedom and Covid accountability is just getting started.

Australia should leave the WHO asap for the above reasons. I support Senator Babet’s views on what is best for Australia.
Thanks for this news. It is appreciated as we see how God is cleaning up the world in preparation for the greatest world wide revival and reformation ever seen
Pauline Hanson has also recommended leaving the WHO a number of times.
Soooooooooooo good!
