360 Sports Australia Gatherings: Transforming the Lives of Sporty Aussies
Christians in sport across Australia are invited to connect, grow, and be equipped to transform their sporting communities through faith in Jesus Christ.
Coming to a City Near You
Christians involved in sport will gather in six cities this year. This initiative of 360 Sports Australia is to build on their entry into the local sports ministry scene over the past 3 years, sharing the opportunities to transform the lives of sporty Aussies. 360 Sports Australia is an international partner of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, established in the United States in 1954, and serving in over 100 countries.
From May to September, coaches, athletes, parents, mentors, church leaders, and supporters will explore the connection between sport and faith in their context, and how everyday Christians in sports to the professional level can seek to live out and share their faith in Jesus.
Venues and dates are as follows:
- Canberra, June 1st
- Albury, June 8th
- Sydney, July 13-14th
- Melbourne, September 25th
- Perth, September 28th
What to Expect
Each location will provide fellowship and networking, biblical teaching, worship and prayer, context stream huddles, sports ministry resources, and a community sports outreach.
A Sports Impact Dinner will be held in the evening, featuring a panel of Christian high-level athletes from each region.
Those attending will be engaged, equipped and empowered to share in 360 Sports and FCA’s vision ‘To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes’, and mission ‘To see every coach and athlete enter a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.’
