There is a call to pray as one today, that the light of Jesus be revealed in the hearts and minds of those who are having or considering having an abortion.

^“The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light.
And for those who lived in the land
where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.”
~ Matthew 4:16 (NLT)

May His light now expose the things hidden — expose deception and expose the darkness that is hellbent on death and the destruction of human life. Jesus suffered and died to pay for every person to be transferred into the Kingdom of Light — that they would have a full life on the earth and eternal life.

The time is short, so the enemy continually uses what he knows has worked in the past — lies and deception to blind the minds of people — to bring them into bondage and death and to deceive humanity to their demise.

“Satan, who is the god of this world,
has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe.
They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.
They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ,
Who is the exact likeness of God.”

The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.

Light overcomes darkness every time! Young men and women who are contemplating an abortion or who are using abortion more than once, instead of contraception, are in need of the revelation of the light of the Gospel and to have their eyes opened to God’s Truth.

Young women for the past 52 years in our nation have been offered an easy way out to “deal” with an unplanned pregnancy. Many say they felt guilt and shame and often they felt coerced by others to swiftly go to abort their ‘unwanted child’.

These women often are heard crying in the recovery room. Some have nightmares that start after their abortion and never stop. Many are plagued with depression, suicidal thoughts, shame and mental torment. Most were just told how simple, quick and effective this “procedure” would be — DECEPTION. We are to expose the lies and deception.

Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. ~ Ephesians 5:11 (NLT)

Heavenly Father, there is no one like You.
You are El Roi, ‘the God who sees’.

You rescued Hagar and Ishmael from certain death in the wilderness.
Come now, Lord, and rescue many other women and children
who are in desperate need all over our nation.

Lord, just as You brought Hagar and Ishmael
back to the family of Abraham so they would survive,
bring those who have no place into Your Kingdom of Light in these days.

Lord, cause Your Ekklesia to step up
to take care of the widow and the orphan
in unprecedented new ways
that include salvation, deliverance and discipleship.

May light shine on those who have been deceived
into a way of life that leads only to guilt, shame,
torment and seared consciences.
May Your truth and light bring healing, hope and freedom.

Let everything be done in pure love
and with Your power to push back evil
and shut it out of our nation.

Lord, expose darkness in these days
from every place where it has lodged.
As Your light shines brighter,
may we walk humbly and powerfully,

Acts of Repentance:

Ask the Lord to shine His glorious light, to show you any lies and deception that may be embedded in your belief systems, that are hindering His light shining forth from you to impact the lives of those around you.

Prayer Points:

• Join our prayers with the USA in the battle to overturn Roe v. Wade — There is an abortion case (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) presently being considered by the nine US Supreme Court Judges which could overturn the famous abortion case Roe v. Wade (1973) which opened up abortion on demand in the USA for almost 50 years. This has resulted in the loss of life to over 62,000,000 babies in the USA. The verdict of the case is expected to be known in June 2022. If Roe v. Wade (1973) is overturned, or invalidated, it is expected that around half the states in the USA will move to make abortion illegal in their states. It is thought six out of the nine judges now have pro-life values.
• Pray that the Love Adelaide — Walk for Life 2022 on Feb 12^th 10am-12pm will grow in momentum from the 5,000 last year — that nothing will hinder the church standing against legalised abortion, adding their strength and support to end the abortion crisis in our nation and beyond. Pray for more volunteers for the walk and for the weather to be favourable. Book Your Free Tickets for the Walk — bring your family and friends!
  There will be prayer in Elder Park Rotunda at 6:30pm on 11^th February the night before the Walk for Life.
• Ask for the Babies Born Alive (Human Rights — Children Born Alive Protection Bill 2021) tabled in the Australian Federal Parliament to have favour, that it be allowed to go for a vote and be passed in this term of government with no more delay — so that in every state and territory in Australia, babies born alive after a failed abortion will receive proper medical care and legal protection.
• That people of South Australia will vote according to Life in the upcoming State Parliament elections. May they no longer support the politicians who voted for aborting viable babies even to full term, blocked vital lifesaving amendments and forbade all prayer and offers of help within 150 m of any place where abortions occur (including all major public hospitals).
• That many women and men will take up the call to be on the frontline in the fight for Life for the Unborn by joining a political party and running for office.
