True Justice

As we are fasting and praying for true justice for the unborn, our prayers are powerful as we confidently pray God’s word. The Lord is calling the leaders of our nation to listen to the voice of true justice and to defend the defenseless — He will not allow this carnage to continue.

“All rise! For God now comes to judge as He convenes heaven’s courtroom. He judges every judge and rules over every ruler, saying, “How long will you judges refuse to listen to the voice of true justice, and continue to corrupt what is right by judging in favor of the wrong?”

Pause in His presence

“Defend the defenseless, the fatherless and the forgotten,
the disenfranchised and the destitute.
Your duty is to deliver the poor and the powerless;
liberate them from the grasp of the wicked.
But you continue in your darkness and ignorance
while the foundations of society are shaken to the core!
Didn’t I commission you as judges, saying,
‘You are all like gods, since you judge on my behalf.
You are all like sons of the Most High, my representatives.’
Nevertheless, in death you are nothing but mere men!
You will be laid in the ground like any prince and you will die.”
All rise! For God now takes His place as judge of all the earth.
Don’t you know that everything and everyone belongs to Him?
The nations will be sifted in His hands!

May we join the Lord in praying this Psalm, that we have true justice for the defenceless babies in the womb. They are forgotten in the abortion bills and disenfranchised from the place the Lord has given them — life on the earth made in His image.

Prayer: Lord, we stand in agreement with Your word and pray for true justice in our nation. We decree from Your word in Isaiah 27:1 — ‘In that day the Lord will take His terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.’ We thank You that everything that is being twisted and lied about and being moved swiftly in our nation, for the destruction of human life, comes under Your mighty sword. Thank You that You are the powerful One who crushes our enemy, and also are the One who nurtures babies. There is no one like you, Lord. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

• Ask that Christians who have influence in any sphere to be bold and courageous to speak up.
• Pray the NSW Upper House will gain momentum to defeat this abortion bill.
• Bring confusion into the enemy’s camp and break all the unholy alliances.
• Breathe into the NSW & SA Parliament a zeal for life, and deeper convictions for life.
• Rally Your people to come with one voice, bringing wisdom, and in unity speak truth.
• Lord, raise up leaders in our nation who defend the defenceless.
• Heavenly Father, You appointed leaders commissioned as judges to administer deliverance to the poor and powerless. We ask that You move mightily in our nation to liberate the unborn from the grasp of the wicked.

Spend time today listening to the Lord, and Pray what is on His Heart.
