‘I Will ******* Kill You’: Death Threats Caught on Camera at Sydney Pastor’s Home
The threats to Pastor Andrew Sedra and his family come almost exactly a year after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, with whom Sedra shared a stage multiple times before Kirk’s death.
A Sydney pastor has revealed that he and his family were threatened at their Cobbitty home on Thursday night, with footage reviewed by The Daily Declaration capturing a series of threats that included promises to kill them.
“I will f*****g kill you,” a woman says in the footage. “I will take you mother*****s down.”
Andrew Sedra, founder of Echo Church in Sydney’s south-west, whose family was the target of the threats, posted a compilation of the footage on X the following day.
Pastor Sedra’s wife Noleen, his brother Martin, and Martin’s wife Millicent were named individually during the confrontation, along with Martin and Millicent’s newborn son. The two couples share the home, which they moved into around a year ago.
The now widely-circulated footage shows four people at the property: a woman with blonde hair and glasses in a chequered dress, whose voice is heard throughout the recording; a second, heavier-set woman with short hair and her face visible, dressed in black pants and a dark grey jacket; a thin figure in all black, including a hoodie and sunglasses; and a fourth person in black shorts and a white hoodie pulled up to conceal his or her face.
Dogs can be heard barking throughout the footage.
The woman refers to family members by derisive nicknames during the confrontation, including “Scamdrew” and “Militant.”
At one point, banging on the door, she says: “Why don’t you come out here like a f*****g grown man and face me? … Answer the f*****g door. Go on. Answer the f*****g door!” At another point, the woman asks: “Are the dogs waking up Millicent’s baby?”
Before the group leaves, she says: “I know all about you, I know all about your family, I know everything about you … Millicent and Noleen live here. And trust me, we are coming for you.”
In his social media post, Pastor Sedra said the group also cut power to the property and attempted to force their way inside.

Police Response
In a statement to The Daily Declaration, NSW Police said officers were called to a disturbance at a Cobbitty property on Thursday 3 September and issued move-on directions to three people.
Police confirmed that a 39-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly failing to comply with the direction and was taken to Narellan Police Station, before later being admitted to hospital for an assessment.
“The occupants were spoken to by police and provided with advice on home security,” police said in the statement. “Local police continue to conduct high visibility patrols of the Cobbitty area.”
Following further inquiries by The Daily Declaration, police said detectives are reviewing CCTV footage from the property, which was provided to them on Monday 7 September.
Pastor Sedra said police visited the property the day after the incident and are preparing a security plan covering both the family home and the church, with patrols at the church planned for Christmas and Easter.
He confirmed that he is in the process of lodging a formal report with police over the threats, with further meetings planned this week.
Pastor Sedra said he recognised the woman seen in the footage from an earlier visit to the church, when she was asked to leave after causing a disturbance.
Pastor Sedra also told The Daily Declaration that police had received over 50 phone calls about Echo Church in recent weeks, including complaints of hate speech, which prompted several visits from counter-terrorism officers.
NSW Police did not respond to a direct question on this matter in either of its statements to The Daily Declaration.
A Pattern of Harassment
Andrew Sedra fled Egypt as a child with his family, after his father, also a pastor, received death threats for ministering to Muslim converts. They arrived in Australia as refugees in 2007.
He told The Daily Declaration that persecution is “already happening” in Australia, and warned that Christians who assume persecution takes place elsewhere but not here are mistaken. “They keep on downplaying it because they want to live in a nice utopian world,” he said.
“Police are rocking up to church to investigate pastors for potential hate speech or Islamophobia,” he said. “And you also have the activists and the LGBTQ jihadists attacking pastors. It’s already here. It’s wrapped differently or for a different reason but it’s still the same persecution.”
Pastor Sedra described a pattern of harassment in his own life dating back to 2021, when he said critics attempted to film him breaching COVID restrictions in an effort to draw police attention.
At around the same time, Echo Church announced that it would not turn away parishioners who had declined a COVID injection.
“During COVID, we had the police investigate us so many times,” he said. “I would go to Bunnings and it was like two kilometres away from my radius. They would take videos.”
Pastor Sedra said the vigilante surveillance eventually stopped but resumed around a year ago.
He highlighted several Facebook pages and groups that have recently targeted Echo Church, with followings ranging from several dozen to more than 5,000. One, which was originally created to scrutinise Hillsong, has more recently turned its attention to Echo Church. “We kind of are their new customer,” he said. “Their job [is] pretty much to follow us around and take content,” he said. “It’s like the paparazzi.”
Pastor Sedra said he suspects his family’s current address was leaked somewhere within this orbit of critics and commentators, whether online or offline, noting that an earlier address had been published in similar circumstances.
The pages reviewed by The Daily Declaration featured sermon clips and commentary critical of the church, but no direct reference to the 3 September incident or the family’s address could be found.
Recent Violence in South-West Sydney
The incident at Pastor Sedra’s home comes amid a spate of shootings in Sydney’s south-west that police believe is part of an underworld feud.
Marco Tapia, 23, a volunteer with Hillsong’s youth ministry, was shot dead in a home invasion at Glen Alpine on 1 September. Police said at the time the attack may have involved a case of mistaken identity, with the intended target thought to have links to organised crime.
A man was shot in a separate, related incident at Guildford in late August.
Both suburbs sit within the same region as Cobbitty, in Sydney’s outer south-west. Investigators have not linked either shooting to the Sedra family or Echo Church.
NSW Police have increased high-visibility patrols at religious sites following the 14 December 2025 Bondi Beach terrorist attack, which killed 15 people. In May, a Bondi Junction priest received a death-threat letter after publicly supporting victims of the attack, and was placed under police watch.
A Friendship With Charlie Kirk
The threats to Pastor Sedra and his family come almost exactly a year after the assassination of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, whom Sedra named as a personal friend.
“We were with Charlie Kirk last year,” Pastor Sedra told The Daily Declaration. “He was a good friend of mine.”
Kirk was shot dead on 10 September 2025 while speaking at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson, 23, was charged with aggravated murder and pleaded not guilty. A hearing to set Robinson’s trial date is scheduled for 23 October.
Pastor Sedra appeared alongside Charlie Kirk on multiple occasions, including Kirk’s Freedom Night in America series in March 2024 and a Turning Point USA Faith pastors’ summit in 2025, both later released as episodes of The Charlie Kirk Show.
During the 2024 appearance, Kirk told Pastor Sedra on stage: “I’m inspired by you … if we had 2,000 pastors with the same spirit that you have, the West would be saved.”
Pastor Sedra drew a direct line between Kirk’s assassination and the threats against his own family. “It’s the same spirit,” he said. “We knew as part of standing up against Islam particularly, and after watching the gay activist go after Charlie… that Transtifa attacks churches, they attack young people, they attack Christian schools across the US.”
He said that Kirk’s assassination weighed on the family’s decision to relocate again this week.
“Based on watching what happened to Charlie Kirk and the political climate… from Bondi to today, our family’s going to have to find a new home.”
Pastor Sedra told The Daily Declaration that this will be the family’s third move since Echo Church was founded in 2017.
But he confirmed that the church will not close its doors. “We’re never gonna shut down,” he said. “We’re going to be speaking louder, bolder and clearer. We’re not backing down.”
