As we share the gospel with non-Christians, yes they will be hurting and bruised and damaged. But they are also morally culpable sinners who need to hear the whole truth about themselves and the God that they have to do with. Brokenness theology leads to acceptance of sin.

Some of the most shocking and demonic anti-Semitism we have seen perhaps since nearly a century ago is now on full display throughout much of the world. Our college campuses in the West have become hotbeds for Israel-hatred and pro-terrorism ideology.

The best way a tyrant can keep the masses in control and prevent them from challenging their overlords is to keep them distracted – usually with endless, brainless entertainment.

Right now, hundreds of college campuses in America, Australia and elsewhere in the West are being “occupied” by militants and radicals. What we are currently witnessing has not come about by accident.

We are at a place where we need major revival – or we perish. Are recent conversions perhaps part of such a move of God?

The homosexualisation of the church has been going on for decades now, but things keep going from bad to worse. Sadly, too many believers see no problems with any of this, or are totally confused about such matters. Much of this acceptance of sin has to do with the issue of acts versus attitudes.

If anyone is really shocked about all this, they obviously know little about political Islam, about jihad, and about Islam’s longstanding hatred of Christians and Jews.

Things can change, and one never knows what surprises God might have up His sleeve for us. Just when things might seem the darkest, the light of Christ might erupt with brilliance and power.

That anti-Jewish and anti-Israel sentiment is now reaching fever pitch is clear. It is becoming less and less safe for Jews to live normal lives in many Western cities, and as usual, Israel is being demonised by our elites, much of the media, and the secular left.

It may seem like Christianity is nearly doomed in America and the West. It has had a very good run, but things seem to be heading south. So is there hope for the West? Well, as long as God is in the equation – and He always is – then there is still hope.

Atheists, like everyone else, will sooner or later die. Either that, or they will renounce their misotheism and turn to God, if not to Christ. There are so many atheists and non-believers who have abandoned their hatred of God and embraced Him and His great love for them.

Many believers struggle to fully experience and embrace the love that Father God has for us. So this piece will look at some further aspects of this.

In the old days, most people knew they were sinful beings in need of salvation and rescue. Today, they see themselves as gods who need affirmation and self-realisation.

We have a new term – or at least a new way an old term is being used: "influencer". The truth is, we are all influenced by others, and we all have an influence on others. This can be for good or ill. Let me consider each in turn.

This shows us the seriousness of the false prophets. They put the lives of everyone at risk. Jackals are known for inhabiting ruined and desolate places, tending to themselves. They do not contribute anything of use, but are just scavengers.

If God can use a sleazeball like Samson, then it seems He can even use someone like you and me. That should be a reassuring thought to most of us.

It is always bad when we forget our Lord and what He has done for us. We all do it far too often. And for that, we do deserve His wrath. But the good news is, in His deep, deep love for us, He actually forgets our sin and disobedience and waywardness.
