Day 21: The Full Armour of God
Intention
The Church must stand, united and equipped by God, against the forces of evil in this world
Scripture
“Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:11-12
Reflection
In this month of prayer and fasting for family, it is crucial that the Church stands and prays against the unseen battles that are raging over Australia and around the world.
We must not get caught up in the well of men; instead, we must be caught up in the well of GOD. The Church needs to remember to fear GOD, not men (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
Christians should pray for our countrymen. Pray that they would live by the Word of God (Leviticus 25:36). Moreover, pray that the darkness that is covering our nation will be overpowered by “The Light of GOD”.
The Church must live in unity together as the voices of Aboriginal Christians rise and take their stand for the Kingdom of God and pray for the Kingdom of God to reign in our nation.
Let us unite as one, “put on the armour of GOD”, and be the beacon in the darkness. For the Light of God is holiness, righteousness, healing, salvation, truth, life and goodness. (1 Thessalonians 5:5).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come against the plot of the enemy. We surrender all our worries, fears, and doubts.
We “put the whole armour” on so we can stand against the enemy’s plans and lies. Let Your will be done in Australia as it is in heaven.
I stand and release warring angels into the atmosphere on “the Great Southern Land of Australia” and I seal all of this in the covenant blood of Yeshua (Jesus) who paid the price for us to have access to life, and life more abundant.
Amen.
