We are living in unprecedented times where worldwide, the number of babies being killed through abortion daily exceeds every other time of genocide in history. More babies every year — according to the World Health Organization, there are an estimated 73million abortions worldwide. This corresponds to approximately 200,000 abortions per day.

What the world needs now is LOVE (Christ in us) to rise up and protect the unborn! Love according to scripture says:

“It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
~ 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 (NLT)

As Jesus’s Ekklesia, we are the answer to this tremendous evil — we have the full equipping power of the Holy Spirit to rise up in His love and the Holy zeal of the Lord!

“For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on His shoulders.
And He will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne and over His Kingdom
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.”

His mature sons and daughters are the shoulders of His government to establish and uphold His Kingdom’s righteousness and justice. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this — we must listen and be obedient to His call.

We saw many of our politicians over the nation and others rejoice when legislation was passed to raise up abortion to birth in our nation. Now suddenly, destruction hit Australia and fear of death has gripped the hearts of her people — everyone panicking to save lives, yet right in our nation there is an altar of blood where the innocent lives of the unborn are being sacrificed daily.

If not for the great LOVE of our Saviour and His blood crying out Mercy, we would all come under fierce judgement. Let us rend our hearts and humble ourselves and pray — then arise in the power of the zeal of the Lord and fight for the unborn!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
Holy are You, Lord God Almighty.
Thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ, Yeshua our King.

Thank You, Lord Almighty,
that Your zeal will accomplish Your Justice and Your righteousness for us
— especially for every baby in the womb.

May Your incredible LOVE in us rise up to protect every life given by You.
We humble ourselves and pray today seeking Your face.
We, Your people whom You love, turn from our wicked ways.

Forgive us where we have sat silent or been zealous to save our own lives
whilst ignoring the destruction of the voiceless unborn in the womb.

Lord, cleanse our land from deception and destruction.
Lord, again we seek Your face, we look and listen for Your wise counsel and strategy to overturn unrighteous laws and cultural attitudes concerning the unborn.

May righteousness and justice prevail and bring low all the powers of evil in our days.
In the powerful redeeming name of Yeshua, Jesus our Lord, Amen.

Acts of Repentance: Visit or write to your local MP and share with respect your desire to see the justice for the unborn and your concerns about how they can represent your views concerning the lack of support for the Babies born alive Bill in Canberra.

Prayer Points:

• Join our prayers with the USA in the battle to overturn Roe v. Wade — There is an abortion case (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) presently being considered by the nine US Supreme Court Judges which could overturn the famous abortion case Roe v. Wade (1973) which opened up abortion on demand in the USA for almost 50 years. This has resulted in the loss of life to over 62,000,000 babies in the USA. The verdict of the case is expected to be known in June 2022. If Roe v. Wade (1973) is overturned, or invalidated, it is expected that around half the states in the USA will move to make abortion illegal in their states. It is thought six out of the nine judges now have pro-life values.
• Pray that the Love Adelaide — Walk for Life 2022 on Feb 12^th 10am-12pm will grow in momentum from the 5,000 last year — that nothing will hinder the church standing against legalised abortion, adding their strength and support to end the abortion crisis in our nation and beyond. Pray for more volunteers for the walk and for the weather to be favourable.
• Ask for the Babies Born Alive (Human Rights — Children Born Alive Protection Bill 2021) tabled in the Australian Federal Parliament to have favour, that it be allowed to go for a vote and be passed in this term of government with no more delay — so that in every state and territory in Australia, babies born alive after a failed abortion will receive proper medical care and legal protection.
• That people of South Australia will vote according to Life in the upcoming State Parliament elections. May they no longer support the politicians who voted for aborting viable babies even to full term, blocked vital lifesaving amendments and forbade all prayer and offers of help within 150 m of any place where abortions occur (including all major public hospitals).
• That many women and men will take up the call to be on the frontline in the fight for Life for the Unborn by joining a political party and running for office.
