21 Days of Hope for the Unborn – Day 14: Life Not Destruction
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
~ Psalm 91:5-6 (NKJV)
Whilst walking around the block of the Abortion Clinic in Adelaide praying, I saw in the spirit, a sign written on the footpath alongside the buildings that said, “Death Camp”. This was several years ago and I’ve never forgotten it.
It felt like I was near Auschwitz concentration camp. I was in an Adelaide suburban street, but also in the vicinity of hidden, sudden destruction where the silent screams are never heard as the unborn in the womb are being exterminated.
A few months later in Parliament, our government passed a bill that people are no longer permitted to speak to anyone about abortion, or pray even silently, within 150 metres from all abortion clinics. This legislation was passed even though there were never any complaints of harassment — the legislation was passed against an imaginary problem that didn’t exist.
Then in February 2021, the abortion-to-birth bill passed — it was unbelievable, they congratulated each other for collaborating to kill unborn Australians who are capable of living outside the womb, independently from their mother. A law was passed to destroy them.
The Bible speaks in Psalm 91:6 about ‘the sudden destruction that lays waste at noonday’. The word destruction is “Qeteb” in Hebrew, meaning to ruin or cut off — referring to a sharp-teethed vicious destruction. Qeteb comes from the root word Qoteb, which means extermination.
Here in Psalm 91, the Psalmist prays to be safe and secure, hidden from this evil. Today let us pray for those in the womb — the precious lives given by the Lord, that they will also be hidden and rescued from this demonic evil.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your word that invites us to remain safe and secure hidden in You. Today we ask that You will extend Your protection over those in the womb in our nation. Lord Jesus, we place Your powerful blood against the spirits of death and destruction that seek to exterminate the next generation.
We ask that You cover these abortion clinics with Your blood — cleansing them and destroying the power of death. Lord, bring Your truth to the hearts and minds of the women waiting for an abortion, and their partners, and cause them to run into Your arms and find safety and the courage, to raise the child or give the child the gift of life through adoption.
We take the sword of triumph You prepared, Jesus, by Your victory over death, and we declare: “Destroy the destruction by the power of Your Name.” We bind every spirit of destruction and loose the word of God that says, “Vengeance is mine, says the Lord, I will repay.” Lord, as we see You shut down these death camps, cause Your people to raise up houses of refuge to rescue the unborn from this horror.
Lord, we call forth those not yet awakened to stand for the unborn — to come into an understanding and action, to be a part of Your hands and feet to turn back the tide of the innocent blood being shed. In the authority of Your precious and redeeming Name, Lord Jesus, Yeshua, we pray. Amen.
Holy Communion:
Give thanks, remembering the blood of Jesus atones for every sin, and Jesus descended into hell and triumphed over death and Hades to redeem every living soul from destruction.
“God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,
through the shedding of His blood—to be received by faith.
He did this to demonstrate his righteousness,
because in His forbearance
He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished.”
~ Romans 3:25 (NIV)
Worship:
Watch:
Acts of Repentance:
Together with a praying friend, find the nearest place where abortions are happening; park your car just beyond the 150 m forbidden zone and pray. Worship and release life and hope by declaring whatever scriptures He gives you.
Prayer Points:
- Join our prayers with the USA in the battle to overturn Roe v. Wade — There is an abortion case (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) presently being considered by the nine US Supreme Court Judges which could overturn the famous abortion case Roe v. Wade (1973) which opened up abortion on demand in the USA for almost 50 years. This has resulted in the loss of life to over 62,000,000 babies in the USA. The verdict of the case is expected to be known in June 2022. If Roe v. Wade (1973) is overturned, or invalidated, it is expected that around half the states in the USA will move to make abortion illegal in their states. It is thought six out of the nine judges now have pro-life values.
- Pray that the Love Adelaide — Walk for Life 2022 on Feb 12th 10am-12pm will grow in momentum from the 5,000 last year — that nothing will hinder the church standing against legalised abortion, adding their strength and support to end the abortion crisis in our nation and beyond. Pray for more volunteers for the walk and for the weather to be favourable. Book Your Free Tickets for the Walk — bring your family and friends!
- Ask for the Babies Born Alive (Human Rights — Children Born Alive Protection Bill 2021) tabled in the Australian Federal Parliament to have favour, that it be allowed to go for a vote and be passed in this term of government with no more delay — so that in every state and territory in Australia, babies born alive after a failed abortion will receive proper medical care and legal protection.
- That people of South Australia will vote according to Life in the upcoming State Parliament elections. May they no longer support the politicians who voted for aborting viable babies even to full term, blocked vital lifesaving amendments and forbade all prayer and offers of help within 150 m of any place where abortions occur (including all major public hospitals).
- That many women and men will take up the call to be on the frontline in the fight for Life for the Unborn by joining a political party and running for office.
May God Bless you. Thank you for being a part of 21 Days of Hope for the Unborn.
‘And let us not grow weary while doing good,
for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’
~ Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

In the ancient Americas, cultures now considered to be highly influential and civilised saw human sacrifice as a necessary part of everyday life. Today, we are told that society is progressive and civilised because women’s "reproductive rights" and bodily autonomy are both supported.
