If you want to be informed, avoid the media!

Only women have hysterectomies. Only women get pregnant. And only leftist progressives like the morons at Melbourne radio station 3AW tweet news headlines like this:

Jesse Pohlner lost his baby when undergoing a hysterectomy in 2021. He had no idea he was pregnant.

Imagine the bloke’s surprise when he realised he was pregnant. And in the middle of surgery to remove his womb.

From now on, annual pregnancy checks should be mandatory for all men. Just in case.

Sigh.

Reading mainstream news is no longer a way of being informed. It’s a surefire way of becoming dumber.

Imagine being a journalist and tweeting a news headline like this, which literally makes no sense at all.

I do hope the woman who lost her baby has a good support network around her.

And I hope the 3AW journalist who wrote the headline is able to find a good primary school in which to learn basic biology and English.

Reality

The actual story is that a woman, identifying as a man, decided to remove her womb in a bid to feel more like a bloke.

In the course of the operation, it was discovered she was 16 weeks pregnant. But alas, it was discovered too late to save the baby.

What 3AW meant to say was: “Jesse Pohlner, a woman who wears male clothing and undergoes medical procedures in a bid to appear male, lost her baby when undergoing a hysterectomy in 2021. She had no idea she was pregnant.”

See how easy that was.

The woman blames the hospital for not checking whether she was pregnant before removing her womb.

“I would call it hospital negligence. Their policy was to blame,” she said.

She also said she resented having to go to the Royal Women’s Hospital for a hysterectomy but,

“ … society says it’s a woman organs so you go there regardless of your dysphoria.”

Lunacy

Maybe the hospital just assumed that a dude wouldn’t be pregnant, even as they removed his women bits.

You know what I mean.

But no, the hospital was supposed to know that a female who had renounced her womanhood so much that she was pumping herself full of male hormones and removing her sexual organs — all the while resenting that it had to be done at a women’s hospital — might be pregnant.

And to top it all off, mainstream news reports it as a man losing his baby because of hospital negligence.

G.K. Chesterton famously said:

“We shall soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four, … in which people will persecute the heresy of calling a triangle a three-sided figure, and hang a man for maddening the mob with the news that grass is green.”

We are doomed to live in such days.
