Our World Has Gone Mad! – Part 6: Medicine
Since the Covid era hit in 2020, I have been exploring the whole subject of human health. Previously, I simply trusted the medical profession implicitly, believing that they always had the patient’s best interests at heart. I now understand that is not the case. This piece will explore just four aspects of an interconnected web of ideology, dogma, international espionage, and government overreach.
1. Is there such a thing as a contagious virus?
This is the pivotal question!
It has been more than two years since the onset of the “corona” crisis, which changed the trajectory of our world. The fundamental tenet of this crisis is that a deadly and novel “virus”, SARS-CoV-2, has spread around the world and negatively impacted large segments of humanity.
Central to this tenet is the accepted wisdom that viruses, defined as replicating, protein-coated pieces of genetic material, either DNA or RNA, exist as independent entities in the real world and are able to act as pathogens. That is, the so-called particle with the protein coating and genetic interior is commonly believed to infect living tissues and cells, replicate inside these living tissues, damage the tissues as it makes its way out, and, in doing so, is also believed to create disease and sometimes death in its host – the so-called viral theory of disease causation. The alleged virus particles are then said to be able to transmit to other hosts, causing disease in them as well…
Perhaps the primary evidence that the pathogenic viral theory is problematic is that no published scientific paper has ever shown that particles fulfilling the definition of viruses have been directly isolated and purified from any tissues or bodily fluids of any sick human or animal. Using the commonly accepted definition of “isolation”, which is the separation of one thing from all other things, there is general agreement that this has never been done in the history of virology. (Settling the Virus Debate, 2022)
This paper, published by Drs Sam and Mark Bailey and 18 other signatories, challenged the virologists’ assumptions and proposed a two-step study to prove the existence of viruses. It is my understating that this has never been done.
In addition to Dr Sam’s work, her husband Dr Mark published a 29,000-word essay, A Farewell to Virology (2022), designed for the medical profession.
2. If viruses don’t exist, then what about the Wuhan lab leak and gain-of-function research?
It is hard to believe, but if viruses don’t exist, then the whole narrative about gain-of-function research is a fabrication designed to support the virus narrative — a circular argument.
I do believe that actual scientific research has been done at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. But it seems to me to be more likely that this research was working on the so-called vaccines, which actually have genetically modifying properties (Sam Bailey, 2022), and have an exceedingly high adverse events rate, including death (Dr John Campbell, 2023).
I have seen no evidence of a plume of infection emanating from Wuhan around the globe. Rather, we saw sporadic pockets of alleged infection springing up in random places with variable intensity.
If Wuhan was the epicentre of infection, I can’t believe that the Chinese would be given immunity (pardon the pun) from liability by the rest of the world.
3. Is the Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (PCR Test) fit for purpose?
The PCR Test was developed by Dr Kery Mullis (1944–2019), an American biochemist.
It tests for a piece of ‘genetic material’, but it has never claimed to have tested for the existence of a ‘virus’. In Kary’s own words, it is not suitable as a diagnostic tool, let alone a screening test. Asked about the alleged ‘misuse’ of the test, he said:
I don’t think you can misuse the PCR. The results, the interpretation of it, yes… With the PCR, if you do it well, you can find about anything in anybody… If you can amplify one single molecule up to something you can really measure, which PCR can do.
There are very few molecules, that you don’t have at least one of, in your body. So that can be thought of as a misuse. PCR does not tell you if you are sick, and it does not tell you that the thing you have ended up with was really going to hurt you. (Dr Kery Mullis)
Initially, it was only applied to people displaying ‘symptoms’, such as breathing difficulties, flu-like symptoms, loss of smell, or sore throat. Then, the protocol across the world changed. In August 2020, it was applied to whole populations.
If we assume that a virus causes a disease called Covid-19, then scientifically the test is not fit for purpose as the genetic material detected could have been picked up from anywhere, bearing no relation to any sickness experienced by the patient.
It seems to me to have been a money-making exercise coupled with a means of injecting fear (pardon the pun) into populations and justifying isolation strategies, and the like, imposed by governments (Sam Bailey 2021).
Dr Tom Cowan has explained how the PCR Test has been used in the Covid era. A sample of RNA is collected. This is presumed to be RNA from the alleged virus. This sample, though, is so small that nothing can be detected, so the PCR ‘amplifies’ the sample. This may be done, say 25 or 36 times. Now, there is sufficient RNA to be sampled and compared to the ‘so-called’ standard that has been published from a sample from Wuhan, China.
The point is that a match may or may not be found at 30 cycles, albeit generating positive and negative results. But, if the cycles are repeated often enough, say up to 40 times, more samples will give a positive result. The cycles can be repeated up to 60 times, by which time, everyone will be deemed positive!
So, all the ‘authorities’ need to do is wind up or wind down the cycles of amplification to generate the number of ‘cases’ they want to publish to the population. For example, they might wind down the number of amplifications to signify a drop in cases, in order to demonstrate the ‘success’ of the vaccine! (Spiro Skouras, 2023)
It seems to me that the PCR has been hijacked as the tool to ‘demonstrate’ the spread of the ‘disease’ when all it has done is measure the existence of some genetic material. It has not demonstrated the existence of a virus, as viruses have not been proven to exist.
4. Why has Allopathic Medicine superseded Natural Medicine?
Dr Ulric Williams (1890 – 1971) was a New Zealand surgeon who became a Naturopath. He said:
All disease comes from one of two places, either an unhealthy way of life… or else it comes from unhappiness in the mind and spirit. (Terrain Therapy, 2022)
Further:
I didn’t cure you, only God can heal. Actually, what I did, was to teach you how to cure yourself and that will be useful to you all your life.
And further:
Governments’ first concern should be – not to fight disease – but to inculcate health and fight the causes of disease. To which end they should enable, teach and encourage the people to live healthily.
Unfortunately, there seem to be too many vested interests in allopathic medicine, from Big Pharma to national and global governments with agendas that demand compliance, and an abdication of personal responsibility. (Jim Twelves, 2023)
Conclusion
These four questions are merely a sample of the madness. I think that modern medicine relies on a compliant, non-thinking populace. Let’s push back and not leave any stone unturned. If any of my four points have resonated with you, I would love to hear from you, in the comments below, or direct by email.
In the words of Dr Tom Cowan:
Words have power. Cult leaders use words to isolate you, shame you, bully you and confuse you with concepts. And inevitably to be part of the group, you have to stop thinking. So, people would rather give up thinking rather than be ostracised. For some people that’s like death. (Dr Tom Cowan, 2021)
That’s my point, I want to help someone start to think again! So please reach out or forward this link to anyone you think might be interested. Thank you.

Well written and explained Jim.
As usual your arguments are solid and your references back up this article well.
You will, no doubt cop a heap of criticism as usual, but there will, (please Lord) come a time when the putrid bandages will be removed from the wound and the light of truth be the best antiseptic we can hope for.
Perhaps then we can learn from this assault on humanity and make sure it cannot happen again.
Listening to the explosive allegations against the CDC and FBI regarding the secret Chinese Biolab discovered in California, it becomes clear that the worst may not be over.
Blessings Jim.
Leonie, thank you for your gracious, cautious support. Yes, I did think this peace was bound to ‘set the cat amongst the pigeons’. I am wrestling with the whole issue myself as you can imagine. I am imagining thousands of doctors and nurses overturning all their experience ans training. In the natural, impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
As an educator I am praying that education can turn radically towards learning ‘how’ to think and away from ‘what’ to think.
There appears to be abundant evidence for the existence of viruses. Apparently they can be directly observed via electron microscope, for example. One of the reasons the Covid vaccines stand out as terrible is the background of success of some vaccines in solving serious viral issues. I’m always willing to learn, but this seems utterly preposterous.
True , no one has seen a virus. Dr Ulric Williams is right about the causes of illness , but , in this brief extract no mention is made of the unhealthy way our food is grown, adulterated , and, genetically modified, plus , the damage that stress from living in the modern world does to our health. I lost faith in the medical profession years ago which was reinforced by the cruel way the oncologists treated my husband who obeyed everything they demanded. They treated him as a piece of meat, a guinea pig, someone to justify more “research “dollars. I am furious that doctors euthanasise people against their written prohibition ( my mother ) and deny others like the parents of a child in the UK the right to remove her from the hospital holding her and obtain medical treatment in Italy which had granted them a Visa for that purpose.Doctors ( now our governments ) think they are God and we have NO RIGHTS over our own bodies= Mao’s Communism ! Wake up Australia !
Countess, wow you really let rip here! Yes this was a very short piece, it was a huge challenge to decide what to put in and what to leave out. I am pleased you brought out the nature of our food supply and also the diabolical control the British NHS when it cam to the sick girl who wanted to leave the country for treatment.
Thankyou Jim! I vividly recall the growing sense of horror and unease when it became apparent that the medical system we had automatically trusted from infancy , irretrievably lost my confidence, as it seemed eveyone’s General Practioners had sided with politically hi jacjked, one size fits all, irrational medical advice. An absolute living nightmare complete with threats and mandates, so foreign to the culturally Australian modus operandi.
So, post Covid, the embrace of pursuing health as opposed to fighting disease, and doing that with the help and blessing of the God and Father who made us, is a paradigm shift filling us with hope for a future, set free from the witchcraft of Big Pharma.
Andrea, what a testimony! Thank you so much.
Thank you Jim, I appreciate your essay.
I come from an alternative health care professional background and have been studying the Con- vid lie since 2019 and read extensively in the scientific articles talking about the issues around Covid.
I absolutely agree with what you are saying about the PCR test, they (WHO and UN ) used it to create cases and create a pandemic when there were no cases, and of course allopathic medicine and big pharma are complicit in this fraud, and so is our Government..
I also agree with your philosophy on natural health. Everyone must take responsibility for their own health. No doctor can give you health. We do need some coaches in living healthy lifestyles, especially in this sedentary lifestyle, and we have adopted some really poor eating habits .
I absolutely agree with Ulric Williams quotes toward the end of you article, particularly around the role of Government.
We edefinitely need people to think for themselves and do a bit of study into these issues that affect all of us and not just accept what the Dr or the Government is telling you. Both of these groups have proven they can not be trusted to do anything for our good, but are entirely captured by the global elite and are following the WEF, UN,WHO agenda for depopulation, and Totalitarianism
Stan, thank you so much. You highlight the need to study and read the literature critically. It gives me goose bumps to think, what would I be saying now in 2023 if I was still in full-time work? I would not have had the time to study as I did, retiring in 2021. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity. I feel for those with full time pressing responsibilities which would naturally lead them to follow their GP unquestioningly and their government submissively.
Jim, it’s difficult to imagine how anyone in this day and age could believe that there’s no such thing as viruses. This has to be the most outlandish claim ever made here, and as a fellow contributor to “Canberra Declaration” I feel embarrassed that such claims have been published as it reflects badly on the organisation, as they cause rightful dismay among educated readers who are not bound by the kind of deep, and frankly, un-Christian, cynicism required to believe such outrageous claims against some of the best understood areas of medical science. This holds the whole site up to ridicule.
And I know that I previously referred you to my own articles on that issue, which you had every opportunity to contend against if you wished to dispute the claim:
https://dailydeclaration.org.au/2021/04/30/how-christians-can-respond-to-media-bias-cynicism-and-the-coming-persecution/
https://dailydeclaration.org.au/2021/11/12/cynicism-scepticism-conspiracy-theories/
https://dailydeclaration.org.au/2023/10/13/what-is-revival-6-hindrances-conspiracy-theories/
From reading this article, it appears that you failed to consider them at all. Because when you hear what real doctors and medical researchers have to say, it is on a par with belief in a flat earth or Holocaust denial.
I approached my friend, Dr Jonathan Sarfati from Creation Ministries, who has a PhD in Chemistry. He provided me with a link to his “X” feed, where he refutes the claims of virus deniers (https://twitter.com/JonathanSarfat1/status/1550533186111045632), as well as this video by microbiologist Dr Dan Wilson, which focuses on Bailey’s rabies video, but which is obviously relevant to her general anti-virus claims (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZskCxmO-Pms). His scorn is obvious. Dr Sarfati also gave me this link to a detailed rebuttal of Bailey’s claims regarding viruses in general (https://www.integralworld.net/visser214.html?).
And on Facebook, commenting on the section of your article where you quote Bailey on what you cite as the “pivotal question” there was fellow “Canberra Declaration” contributor and medical researcher Dr Kurtis Budden, whose mildly ironic tone is unmissable, who had this refutation:
“Considering this article is largely predicated on the idea that we haven’t isolated the SARS-CoV-2 viral particle, I’ve come to put everyone’s mind at ease. It’s been done here:
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(23)00682-5/fulltext
and people have used isolated particles here:
https://www.atsjournals.org/doi/suppl/10.1164/rccm.202108-1901OC
And in case you’re worried that we’ve never taken an isolate from a patient, isolated it, and then put it into humans to generate disease, then re-isolate the virus (i.e. fulfill Koch’s Postulates), you can relax cause we have:
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-022-01780-9 ”
As you are an educator, and in a response here you “highlight the need to study and read the literature critically”, it’s a shame that you didn’t do so with the claims of Sam Bailey, because “critically”, as you know, means considering all points of view, not just the ones which confirm our own biases. And you would definitely have not written this irredeemably flawed article.
Thanks Kim. So many of the medical fraternity busting their guts to help the suffering, Christian brothers and sisters, would be appalled at the original piece.
One of a our Daughters in the Lord was registrar on a covid ward in Melbourne during the peak late 2020 through 2021 and saw so many suffer so much, and many died. We have talked at length about the conspiracy theory weirdness some Christians get into; and lack of hard core statistical data on the subject that is ignored or cherry picked.
The article rests, in large part on the premise that “Perhaps the primary evidence that the pathogenic viral theory is problematic is that no published scientific paper has ever shown that particles fulfilling the definition of viruses have been directly isolated and purified from any tissues or bodily fluids of any sick human or animal.”
I wonder if they could comment on the article below, which does exactly what the author says has never been done, and directly fulfills Koch’s postulates in regards to COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2?
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-022-01780-9?fbclid=IwAR2R47XtLfUGiBc6My6quj6jLTncjP2x3Os3WsvKgeD258LzTiz9rSso29M#Sec9
KB, thank you for your contribution. I have had a look at your paper, it is clear that it is written from the virologists worldview. My brief piece was designed to put some question marks out there. It certainly would not be expected to change a worldview on a single reading. It has taken me three years to reach this position.
All I can do here is draw one strand of an argument out for consideration. Namely, if the medical doctors, such as Sam and Mark Bailey and Tom Cowan report that they have not seen any evidence of virus isolation but rather decomposition materials from dead tissue, I am not not game to suggest they are wrong.
Coupled with the tragic excess death data coming out from around the world, I am persuaded that germ theory can be disproved.
An uncoupling of allopathic medicine, big pharma and government is impossible in the natural, but with God, all things are possible.
“it is clear that it is written from the virologists worldview.”
That’s a truly bizarre comment to make in relation to a peer reviewed paper in such an esteemed journal as “Nature”. To claim it’s written according to a particular worldview which conforms to the worldview of the authors ignores the fact that ALL such independent peer reviewed papers, not just in relation to medicine, but to every field of science, is the result of the process known universally as “The Scientific Method”.
This requires a detailed process:
1. Ask a Question
2. Conduct Background Research
3. Formulate a Hypothesis
4. Design and Conduct an Experiment
5. Analyze the Data
6. Draw a Conclusion
That is then followed by the rigorous independent peer review process which the paper in question went through:
“Peer review occurs when scientists that work in the same field as the proposed publication evaluate the work and can either agree that it seems credible, or raise questions and propose changes to attain validity of the experiment. Once a hypothesis has been peer-reviewed extensively, it can become a scientific theory, or an explanation for the natural world that brings together facts and hypotheses and is strongly supported by empirical research.”
There is also the inevitable issue of bias, which we are all prone to:
“If someone uses bias when forming their hypothesis, that may not have a huge affect on their experiment’s validity, but if they use bias in how they collect their data and form their conclusions? That could lead to serious problems in how accurate and trustworthy their claims will be.”
This is an accurate picture of what Sam Bailey (and other anti-virus advocates) have done. Where is their experiments? Where the peer review? Where is there ANYTHING that remotely resembles a proper scientific inquiry? It’s ALL empty speculation. And that’s what you’re disseminating here.
So, that’s why your attempt to dismiss such a paper as merely written from the researchers’ worldview is proof of your own cynicism, which I have mentioned to you before as being contrary to the way Scripture instructs us to think.
And it’s also why that Scientific Method, while not being itself a worldview, is the product of one: the Christian worldview.
So by dismissing such a paper you are also being dismissive of its Christian basis.
And in that respect your devotion to these people who claim that there is no such thing as viruses is the polar opposite of that tried and trusted method. In fact, it is cynical to the core. And that cynicism has been the tool of Satan since Genesis 3!
And along with the proofs I have already provided you, the gentleman you responded to with such dismissiveness is someone I know to be a medical researcher himself, who could if asked show you proof that viruses are real, and that they are a significant risk to human life.
The worst thing about this article, though, is that it’s not difficult to imagine someone who is easily persuaded, perhaps by your honorific, “Dr”, or worse, of unsound mind, who takes your opinion as proof, and refuses medication against a virus, which in the absence of medication does significant harm to her/his health or worse.
As for the “tragic excess death data”, if you actually examined the data in Australia from the past decade, as I have, you would have found that, apart from deaths from/with COVID in the past four, the chief culprits, which increase at well above the average every single year, are diabetes and dementia.
So encouraging to see a Christian leader speaking out, when most followed Government directives, hurting many people in the process. Thank you.
JJ, thank you so much. It was perhaps the hardest piece to write of all the contributions I have made to the Daily Declaration. I have been agonizing over this issue for three years and at last the ‘evidence’ of harm and death from the government’s directives that have been recently emerging has vindicated my position, in my mind. I am thrilled that the Daily Declaration does not have a censorship policy to ban minority views.
A most pertinent PostScript to my piece, from Dr Mike Yeadon, UK. https://rumble.com/v3zq2jj-mike-yeadon-address-to-parliamentary-special-meeting-4122023.html dated 4th December 2023.
It’s difficult to believe that any intelligent person could be so taken in by such lies as those of Yeadon’s here. Especially anyone who has had their “ear to the ground” over the past 3-4 years. I only needed to watch until a few minutes in until he began with the old anti-vax trope claiming the development of the vaccines was rushed. Yet anti-vaxxers worshipping at the altar of Dr Robert Malone have been harping on for three years or more that he was the person responsible for the breakthrough in mRNA technology in 1980!
So, which is it? Were they rushed and poorly developed? Or did Malone invent them 40 years ago?
The fact is that both Malone and Yeadon are lying through their teeth.
Malone made a single discovery on the long road to an mRNA vaccine in 1980, but there were dozens of breakthroughs before and after Malone. So he’s lying about the significance of his role in the 40 years plus development of the mRNA vaccine.
But then obviously that means Yeadon is lying about it being untested and rushed in development.
And he would know better than most that an mRNA vaccine was first tested on humans as long ago as 2010, and that vaccines for both Zika Virus and Ebola were successfully used in West Africa several years before the pandemic.
And this is only one in a legion of outright lies and fraudulent claims he has made over the past three years in relation to the pandemic (which he denies outright) and the vaccines.
So why you keep spouting absolute nonsense which would take two minutes to find refutations galore online only serves to prove that you have no interest in the facts, only your own thoroughly refuted anti-vax dogma.
Of all the people in the world we, as Christians, have a responsibility to adhere to truth and truthfulness in our mindset. To be so wedded to confirmation bias as you are is a dereliction of our Christian duty as sons of God and as His witness to the watching world.
