The Voice: Two Years and Zero Lessons Learned
It’s been two years this week since the Voice referendum.
Two years since one of the great victories of democracy against a radical push by activists to divide us by race in the Constitution.
Who won that victory?
You did.
And I shall be forever grateful for everything you did to keep this country united and to preserve the values of our democracy.

Grievance Politics
The Voice was never a “gracious” or “modest” request – or a means to deliver practical changes to improve the lives of disadvantaged Indigenous Australians.
Rather, it was about activists acquiring power so they could push forward with an agenda driven by resentment and retribution.
It was intended to be a “black political force to be reckoned with”.
It was an institution for activists to demonise British settlement and delegitimise the achievement of modern Australia, to put divisive racial politics at the centre of our policymaking, and to rewrite our history with the aim of reparations and getting “land back”.
There are a lot of people who would prefer this anniversary to slip by unnoticed – most of all, Anthony Albanese.
Not just because the Yes campaign lost, but because it’s clear that many of those who pushed the referendum haven’t learned a single lesson from it.
Pigheaded Politicos
Two years on, there’s been little improvement to the lives of disadvantaged Indigenous Australians because, instead of practical solutions, all we have seen is more of the same: more bureaucracy, more victimhood narratives, and more performative symbolism.
Two years on, it’s clear that many of those who pushed the referendum haven’t accepted the result.
Despite Australians resoundingly voting NO to voice, treaty and truth-telling, state Labor governments are still pressing ahead with these goals.
They arrogantly refuse to accept the democratic will of the people.
This same arrogance continues to drive other parts of the Albanese Government’s policy agenda, too.
They’re trying to tell you there’s nothing to worry about with mass migration.
And yet, you can see the detrimental effects on housing, infrastructure and services.
They’re trying to coerce you into accepting the economically damaging and freedom-eroding policy of Net Zero.
And yet, you can see the effects: higher power bills, struggling businesses, and manufacturers moving offshore.
Battle On
Defined by its arrogance, the Albanese Government continues to prioritise what activists and special interest groups want over what ordinary Australians need.
This week, we take a moment to celebrate the victory of Australians who voted NO to division two years ago.
But we must remain vigilant.
Because the activists never rest, and the Albanese Government is as arrogant as ever.
My battle, your battle, our battle remains saving the nation we love from the onslaught of a regressive movement that calls itself ‘progressive’.
We must show them that they are the few, and we are the many.
