21 Days of Hope for the Unborn – Day 17: Establishing Justice
Jesus is our light establishing justice, and we are to be walking-light and doing likewise.
It is written about Jesus —
4 “His inner being will not become faint or discouraged,
nor will His light grow dim
before He establishes justice on the earth.
Even the distant lands beyond the seas
will hunger for His instruction.”
5 Here are the words of the true God, Yahweh,
the one who created the starry heavens and stretched them out.
He is the one who formed the earth and filled it with life.
He gives breath to every person and spirit to everyone everywhere.
6 “I, Yahweh, have commissioned you in righteousness to succeed.
I will take your hand in love and watch over you.
I will give you as a covenant for the people, a walking-light to the nations.”
~ Isaiah 42:4-6 (TPT)
Lord Jesus, the Messiah, as the chosen servant of the Lord,
sustained by Yahweh, formed the earth and filled it with life.
He was sent on a divine mission to bring light and freedom to the hearts of people.
God the Father placed His Spirit on Jesus to be light and salvation to all people.
He willingly suffered and succeeded in securing salvation for all.
We have also been chosen and anointed by the Holy Spirit
to shine our light and establish justice on the earth —
we too have been commissioned in righteousness to succeed.
We are part of the Lord’s justice army rising up all over the earth
to stand for the lives of the innocent babies in the womb.
The Lord is righteous in her midst,
He will do no unrighteousness.
Every morning He brings His justice to light;
He never fails,
But the unjust knows no shame.
~ Zephaniah 3:5 (NKJV)Commit your way to the Lord,
trust also in Him,
and He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
~ Psalm 37:5-7 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You gave us the Light of the World, Your Son.
We rejoice that You have transferred us into the kingdom of Your dear Son.
Thank You for bringing Your justice to light today for the innocent babies being aborted.
Lord, we ask for Your commissioning angels
to visit Your people as they worship You this week —
that they become aware of the part You have written in their books.
Thank You for qualifying each believer for ministry —
we are chosen and anointed by You.
Fill us afresh, Holy Spirit, with love
to be like You, Lord Jesus, gentle and compassionate,
and not discouraged, but having unfailing courage.
Let us carry Your pure light
and walk in the light of Your justice and righteousness —
let us shine the light of Your truth
into the dark places where humanity is trapped
and deceived into believing lies
that make it acceptable to kill the innocent through abortion.
Lord, in Your mercy,
equip us for the work of reconciliation and restoration of all things —
especially for the precious human life that is given by You each day.
In Jesus Christ, Yeshua’s most wonderful, righteous Name we pray, Amen.
Worship:
Holy Communion:
“In the same way, He took the cup also after supper, saying,
‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood;
do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’”
~ 1 Corinthians 11:25
Acts of Repentance:
Forgive any injustices that have occurred against you today —
go deep in forgiveness and let the blood of Jesus bring His vindication on your behalf.
He is commissioning us for greater works;
blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Prayer Points:
- Join our prayers with the USA in the battle to overturn Roe v. Wade — There is an abortion case (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) presently being considered by the nine US Supreme Court Judges which could overturn the famous abortion case Roe v. Wade (1973) which opened up abortion on demand in the USA for almost 50 years. This has resulted in the loss of life to over 62,000,000 babies in the USA. The verdict of the case is expected to be known in June 2022. If Roe v. Wade (1973) is overturned, or invalidated, it is expected that around half the states in the USA will move to make abortion illegal in their states. It is thought six out of the nine judges now have pro-life values.
- Pray that the Love Adelaide — Walk for Life 2022 on Feb 12th 10am-12pm will grow in momentum from the 5,000 last year — that nothing will hinder the church standing against legalised abortion, adding their strength and support to end the abortion crisis in our nation and beyond. Pray for more volunteers for the walk and for the weather to be favourable. Book Your Free Tickets for the Walk — bring your family and friends!
- Ask for the Babies Born Alive (Human Rights — Children Born Alive Protection Bill 2021) tabled in the Australian Federal Parliament to have favour, that it be allowed to go for a vote and be passed in this term of government with no more delay — so that in every state and territory in Australia, babies born alive after a failed abortion will receive proper medical care and legal protection.
- That people of South Australia will vote according to Life in the upcoming State Parliament elections. May they no longer support the politicians who voted for aborting viable babies even to full term, blocked vital lifesaving amendments and forbade all prayer and offers of help within 150 m of any place where abortions occur (including all major public hospitals).
- That many women and men will take up the call to be on the frontline in the fight for Life for the Unborn by joining a political party and running for office.
May God Bless you. Thank you for being a part of 21 Days of Hope for the Unborn.
‘And let us not grow weary while doing good,
for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’
~ Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)
