Despite ongoing media outrage, Trump delivered a blockbuster week — from legal victories to protecting kids to securing global peace — proving outcomes still matter more than noise.

Even President Donald Trump’s critics are hailing it as a blockbuster week.

From landmark Supreme Court decisions to major international peace agreements, the last week of June revealed Trump’s ability to influence policy and secure tangible results across a wide range of issues — including, importantly, the protection of children.

The media narrative is that Trump is ineffective, chaotic and dictatorial, but the facts — especially over the last week — tell a vastly different story.

You won’t hear much about it from the propaganda press — but here are 10 major wins Trump secured this week.

1. Children Protected from LGBTQ+ School Lessons

Last Friday, the US Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in Mahmoud v. Taylor that Christian parents have a First Amendment right to exempt their children from public school lessons featuring LGBTQ+-themed storybooks. The case began when families in Maryland challenged a Montgomery County school curriculum, asserting it infringed on their religious convictions.

The Court’s majority — three of whom are Trump appointees — affirmed that the free exercise of religion protects parents’ rights to shield their children from teachings that conflict with their faith.

The landmark decision establishes a binding national precedent, empowering Christian parents across the US to protect their kids and uphold biblical values in education.

2. Age Verification Mandated for Adult Websites

Also last Friday, the US Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favour of a Texas law that requires adult websites to verify users’ ages to prevent children from accessing obscene content. The case, Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton, was brought by the adult entertainment industry, which argued the law violated adults’ free speech and privacy rights. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the law only incidentally restricts protected speech and falls within the state’s duty to safeguard children.

This ruling also applies across the US and supports similar laws in 21 other states.

3. Nationwide Judicial Injunctions Restricted

In a third seperate ruling last Friday, the US Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that federal judges cannot issue nationwide injunctions to block President Trump’s policies, such as his plan to end birthright citizenship. Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s opinion in Trump v. CASA clarified that courts may only protect the specific individuals or groups involved in a case, rather than halting policies across all states.

For most of US history, judges avoided making such sweeping orders. But in recent years, a growing number of so-called ‘rogue’ judges — especially in states like California and Washington — have issued nationwide injunctions, often aimed at blocking President Trump’s policies. Since January 2025 alone, there have been at least 25 of these rulings.

The new Supreme Court decision reins in that overreach, restoring limits on judicial power and reinforcing the president’s ability to govern without constant interference.

4. Ceasefire Brokered Between Iran and Israel

On June 23, President Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, effectively ending the “12 Day War” triggered by Israel and involving US strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites.

Brokered with Qatar’s involvement, the ceasefire took effect on June 24, easing fears of oil supply disruptions and helping push prices down, despite earlier concerns of a rise. Though some early violations were reported, the agreement represents a meaningful step towards stabilising the region.

Trump’s campaign significantly damaged Iran’s nuclear capabilities and achieved what previous administrations could not through diplomacy and sanctions — all without the loss of American lives.

President Trump had a historically good week. In fact it might be the best week of President Trump’s presidency.

5. NATO Defence Spending Increased by Allies

At the NATO summit in The Hague on June 24–25, 2025, President Trump persuaded nearly all 32 member countries to agree to raise defence spending to 5% of GDP by 2035.

The new agreement will add about $280 billion a year to NATO’s $1.47 trillion budget, boosting the alliance against threats like Russia. Spain resisted, keeping its spending at 2.1%, but Trump’s strong push, backed by NATO leader Mark Rutte, won broad support.

Trump’s deal shifts more defence costs to Europe, easing the burden on US taxpayers and arguably making NATO both stronger and fairer.

6. Peace Deal Facilitated Between Rwanda and Congo

Last Friday, President Trump secured a historic peace agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, marking a hopeful step toward lasting peace in a region long marked by violence and instability.

Signed at the State Department in Washington, DC, the deal aims to end decades of deadly conflict in eastern Congo linked to the 1994 Rwandan genocide. It calls for Rwandan troops to withdraw within 90 days, the disarmament of rebel groups, and strengthened economic ties through mineral trade.

7. China Trade Agreement Finalised

On June 25, President Trump secured a significant and long-awaited trade agreement with China that eases tensions from the ongoing trade war. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng signed the deal in London, speeding up access to vital rare earth minerals needed for manufacturing cars, electronics, and fighter jets.

Under the agreement, US tariffs on Chinese goods will drop from 145% to 55% — still higher than pre-2025 levels — while China will cut its tariffs on US products from 125% down to 10%, lower than their previous 15–25% range.

After intense negotiations led by Trump’s team, the agreement should safeguard US industries and jobs from supply chain issues and restore a healthier economic balance.

It also validates my April prediction about the long-term benefits of Trump’s tariff strategy.

8. Canada’s Digital Tax Scrapped

Just this Monday, President Trump achieved a significant trade victory when Canada relented and scrapped its 3% digital services tax, which was imposing over $2 billion in annual costs on American tech giants like Amazon and Google.

After Trump threatened to end all trade talks and impose new tariffs on Canada, Prime Minister Mark Carney backed down, clearing the way for a new US-Canada trade deal by July 21.

The outcome is another example of Trump’s firm negotiating approach, aimed at protecting American businesses and advancing fairer trade agreements.

9. Record-Low Gas Prices Achieved

In June 2025, US fuel prices fell to $3.15–$3.20 per gallon — the lowest since 2021 — easing costs before the summer travel season. Prices dropped in 49 states, except Washington, with California still high at $4.65 per gallon.

Trump’s role in securing a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, combined with his calls for OPEC+ to boost oil production, have been credited with contributing to the price reduction.

10. Stock Market Records Broken

Last Friday, the S&P 500 reached a record high of 6,173.07, surpassing its February peak, while the Nasdaq also hit an all-time high at 20,273.46. This surge, up 24% since April’s tariff concerns, was supported by President Trump’s US-brokered Middle East ceasefire easing oil prices, strong earnings from companies like Nvidia and Nike, and expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts later in the year.

Trump’s trade negotiations, including a new agreement with China, helped reverse early 2025 market fears and boosted American investor confidence — also as I predicted back in April.

By Monday, the S&P 500 climbed further to 6,193 and the Nasdaq to 20,336.82 — signs of continued gain under Trump’s economic leadership.

When reporting on Trump, the legacy media likes to fixate on tone, optics and momentary turbulence. But his negotiating style has always been about creating pressure, absorbing backlash, and ultimately forcing results.

That’s exactly what the last week has shown. Whether on trade, peace, or protecting children from harmful ideology, Trump has reminded his critics that he should be judged not by the noise he generates, but by the outcomes he delivers — especially when those outcomes reshape the global order for the better.
