NBC’s Cognitive Dissonance
When delusions are accepted as realities, the whole world goes mad.
Cognitive dissonance is a mental disorder that results from holding two conflicting beliefs at the same time.
Cognitive refers to the act of thinking. Dissonance refers to a lack of harmony.
The inconsistency of holding two conflicting ideas at the same time creates enormous discomfort.
For example, we all know 2+2 is not 4 and 28. It’s 4.
Lies
But what if you sometimes want it to be 28?
In order to believe that 2+2 equals 28, you must suppress the truth of 4.
Obviously, you can’t get rid of the idea that 2 and 2 is 4, because you know that it is. What you can do is suppress the idea in order to allow yourself to say the equation equals 28 when convenient.
This is also known as situational ethics.
A classic example of this occurred on NBC News Today when the hosts showed 4D ultrasound images of babies in the womb reacting to their mother tasting different flavoured food.
Introducing the segment that went to air this week, the hosts told viewers:
“We want to show you amazing baby faces.
“Researchers in Britain wanted to know if babies in the womb react when mum injects a certain flavour of food.”
Viewers were then shown two 4D images of the same baby in utero.
The hosts continued:
“The left (image) is of a baby in its resting state. Then on the right, see how he smiles? The mum ate carrots!”
The hosts then joked about why the baby would smile for carrots rather than for something sweeter, like ice cream.
Double Standards
The interesting thing about this, of course, is that the same NBC News Today team have been running interference for the abortion industry, especially since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade.
So the Today team believe it’s a “baby” when it makes for a cute news story. But it’s a “fetus” when they want to promote abortion.
It’s a “baby” when they see the 4D images. But it’s a clump of tissues when they are insisting that Planned Parenthood provides healthcare and that a woman’s right to choose is paramount.
Viewers noted the inconsistency. And that is good since it means at least some viewers are not yet insane.
One NBC viewer wondered what would happen if they closed the segment with:
“We just learned the babies featured in our last segment were aborted after these images were taken.”
The truth — that babies in the womb are (a) human and (b) alive — was happily acknowledged in the segment.
2+2=4.
But if the subject turned to abortion, then we would be told that we were looking at a fetus, a parasite, a clump of cells.
2+2=28.
Of course, both cannot be true.
If it’s not a baby, then it’s not a baby’s face.
And if it’s not a baby’s face, then it’s not a baby’s smile.
Turning a Blind Eye
Does NBC want to show us the look on the baby’s face as it is being scraped out of the womb with a metal instrument?
If babies in the womb clearly react with joy to food, might they not react with pain and horror to um, you know, “choice”?
Someone suggested the TV segment be tagged as: “Democrats stumble across pro-life movement.”
Of course, they didn’t stumble across the truth. They have always known it. They just stopped suppressing it for 1 minute and 41 seconds.
When truth is permitted to peek out — even for a moment — from behind the ideological curtain men have constructed to conceal it, we must draw attention to and celebrate it.
It’s like a ray of sunshine on a gloomy winter’s day.
We must remind men not only that 2+2 is 4, but that they know 2+2 is 4. Because they are sane!
And we must lovingly ask how it is that 2+2 can ever be 28 apart from them committing intellectual suicide.
If we do not do these things, alternative narratives (also known as delusions) become so widely accepted that they appear as realities. And the whole world goes completely and utterly mad.

Brilliant synopsis of cognitive dissonance James – there must be a way we can penetrate this function in our youth . I am beyond caring about the older idiots but would love to help our indoctrinated youth break through their psychos before they hurt them selves irredeemably .
