Jesus Experienced the Life That We Do

What do you think about when you think of Easter? A recent experience led me to think about Jesus and his natural or human life. He lived the very life we live today. He chose to come into the world and relate to the way we live.
It is good to know that Jesus experienced the everyday life we do.
Isaiah 61:1-4 CEV
1 The Spirit of the Lord God has taken control of me! The Lord has chosen and sent me to tell the oppressed the good news, to heal the brokenhearted, and to announce freedom for prisoners and captives.
2 This is the year when the Lord God will show kindness to us and punish our enemies. The Lord has sent me to comfort those who mourn,
3 especially in Jerusalem. He sent me to give them flowers in place of their sorrow, olive oil in place of tears, and joyous praise in place of broken hearts. They will be called “Trees of Justice, ”planted by the Lord to honour his name.
4 Then they will rebuild cities that have been in ruins for many generations.
This scripture reminds us that Jesus didn’t just come to get us through life or the brokenness, actually, Jesus became all of those things for us.
Jesus’ redemptive power lives in us — Jesus is alive. We find Him as we seek after Him in personal ways and He relates to every person.
This Easter let’s remind the people in our churches that Jesus is drawing them near to Him.
