Intention

To rejoice knowing that every prayer of repentance and every soul won for Jesus are preparing the way and hastening Christ’s Coming.

Scripture

“So it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.’ However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.”

– 1 Corinthians 15:45–47

“He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed in Christ as a plan for the right time – to bring everything together in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth in him.”

– Ephesians 1:9–10

Reflection

God intended for Adam and Eve to reign in the garden from the very beginning. He prepared the garden for them and then granted them dominion over every animal and plant. That dominion encompassed the “whole earth”. They, being made in His image, were to rule (Genesis 1:26–28).

Since they failed, Jesus Christ came. But the second Adam did not fail.

He fought against the evil and death that offended God, emerging victorious. This triumph allowed for the creation of a new kind of humanity that would complete the work He began.

That new race – all believers in our Lord – has been granted the greatest privilege of all time. We have been given the role of “putting all enemies under His feet” (1 Corinthians 15:25; Revelation 2:26–28).

We are preparing the way for Him to return as King over all, “waiting for the day of God and hastening its coming” (2 Peter 3:12).

Every prayer of repentance, every soul won for Jesus, every oiling of the Holy Spirit, every prophetic act over the ground, and every cleansing with ‘the precious blood’ of Jesus will suddenly receive the power of God, the same power used in the resurrection.

Doors have been open to Him in places all over the globe (Revelation 3:8). As the time approaches for His Son’s return, the Holy Spirit is bringing a convergence between His people and these doorways. He is making a union not only among the people but also among the pathways, echoing the perfection of the garden as it was in the beginning.

There is no time in heaven as we understand it. Although we, His body of followers, can see all these incidents on a graph as a linear timeline, God in heaven perceives all this happening now, ‘in that day’.

Every door that has been prepared for Him, He will open in that one moment of time.

He is knocking at the door that invites Him into the earth, as well as into the hearts of humankind (Revelation 3:20).

Each step we take is in the knowledge of His love, His mercy and His grace.

Prayer

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power, and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours.

“Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom; You are exalted as head over all… Now, our God, we give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name.” (1 Chronicles 29:11, 13)

Lord Jesus, You testify, “Yes, I am coming soon”.
