FamilyVoice Australia: Help Us Continue the Fight
The Canberra Declaration is blessed to serve alongside many other likeminded ministries such as FamilyVoice Australia, and we’re thankful for FamilyVoice Australia’s partnership this year in the Australian Christian Freedom Index. We encourage our supporters to pray for and support their ministry.

As we reflect over the last year, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for His faithfulness. This year marks 53 years of FamilyVoice standing boldly for Family, Faith and Freedom, and while the challenges facing Australia continue to grow, so too do the opportunities the Lord has given us to make a difference.
None of this would be possible without faithful supporters like you.
Because of your prayers and generosity, FamilyVoice continues to speak truth with grace into our nation’s most important debates: protecting life, strengthening families, defending Christian freedom, and equipping believers to engage confidently with today’s cultural challenges.
We are delighted to report that our print ministry continues to grow strongly. This is amazing in the digital age, but there are many of our supporters who only want our material in hard copy rather than email or online. This has more than doubled in just over three years. Praise the Lord.

Reaching More Australians Than Ever
Every month, thousands of Australians are encouraged, informed and equipped through our publications.
Our digital ministry has also experienced remarkable growth.
During the 28 days leading up to the end of the financial year, FamilyVoice content generated more than four million Facebook views, and over a 60-day period, more than eight million views. This places FamilyVoice among the strongest-performing organisations in our sector, allowing us to reach Australians with a biblical worldview on issues affecting family, faith and freedom.
We are also reaching younger Australians through TikTok. During the year, our account grew by 21% to 1,550 followers, with 87,400 likes, an increase of 23%. Every day we are engaging a generation that desperately needs truth, hope and the life-changing message of the Gospel.
We are about to take the plunge into Instagram, where, again, mostly young people spend their time.
Another exciting area of growth has been 365Life. What began with just six volunteers in 2019 has now grown to more than 1,000 volunteers. It is a wonderful reminder that ordinary Christians, working together, can have an extraordinary impact in protecting life and supporting vulnerable Australians.
This year also saw our webinar ministry continue to flourish. Our monthly online events are attracting excellent attendance and consistently positive feedback, providing practical encouragement and biblical insight to supporters across Australia. These webinars are helping us build a stronger, more engaged national community committed to standing for biblical truth.
Looking Ahead: Elections and the Christian Freedom Index
Looking ahead, preparations are already well underway for the Victorian election in November. FamilyVoice is organising candidate forums across the state, with seven of the eight Upper House regions already confirmed. Planning has also commenced for the New South Wales election in March 2027. These forums provide a valuable opportunity for voters to hear directly from candidates on issues that matter most to Christian families.
One of the most significant achievements this year was FamilyVoice’s involvement as a key sponsor of the Australian Christian Freedom Index.
I had the privilege of participating in numerous planning meetings and speaking at the launch in Federal Parliament.
This landmark report is the first comprehensive national assessment of Christian religious freedom in Australia. It documents increasing legal and cultural pressures, analyses legislation across every state and territory, surveys more than 10,000 Australian Christians, and provides practical recommendations to strengthen religious freedom.
This project is already influencing conversations among church leaders, policymakers and the wider community.
An Honest Word About Our Finances
While we rejoice in these encouraging developments, I also want to be honest about our financial situation.
This has been our third consecutive year of significant financial pressure. Growing ministries inevitably require greater resources. Although God once again provided through the generosity of supporters in the closing months of the financial year, allowing us to finish with a modest surplus, since then the donations have significantly reduced.
By God’s grace, this was our sixth consecutive annual surplus since I became National Director, following four years of substantial deficits before then. We thank the Lord for His provision, but we also recognise that His provision has consistently come through faithful supporters who have responded generously when the need has been presented.
If FamilyVoice has informed, encouraged or equipped you, if you value a Christian voice that speaks clearly into today’s cultural debates, if you want future generations to inherit a nation where family is strengthened, life is protected, and Christian freedom is preserved, then would you prayerfully consider making a generous gift today?
Your support enables us to expand our publications, produce digital content reaching millions, organise webinars and candidate forums, prepare and lodge submissions, strengthen pro-life initiatives, defend Christian freedom, and equip believers across Australia to stand faithfully for biblical truth.
Every gift, whether large or small, makes a real difference.
As we look to the year ahead, we do so with confidence, not because the challenges are small, but because our God is faithful. Together, we can continue proclaiming truth with courage and compassion, strengthening families, defending life, and protecting the freedoms that allow the Gospel to flourish.
Thank you for standing with FamilyVoice.
Would you please make your most generous gift today?
Together, by God’s grace, we can ensure that the message of Family, Faith and Freedom continues to be heard across Australia.
