Supporting Israel does not mean supporting everything the government of Israel does. What it does mean is supporting the nation of Israel’s right to exist.

Congress has approved a National Day of Prayer each year on the first Thursday of May. Repentance is necessary for prayers to be heard (Psalm 66:18). Australia has stood with the USA every 30 April since 2012 for this National Day of Repentance.

In the old days, most people knew they were sinful beings in need of salvation and rescue. Today, they see themselves as gods who need affirmation and self-realisation.

We have a new term – or at least a new way an old term is being used: "influencer". The truth is, we are all influenced by others, and we all have an influence on others. This can be for good or ill. Let me consider each in turn.

I’m leading this call today for repentance for antisemitism in the Church and of Australia’s responsibility towards Israel and the Jewish people.

The Jews’ celebration of Purim this year has a certain poignancy, as they are conscious of the current war and threats, and growing antisemitism. However, hopefully, they will also be conscious that God saved them from Haman and from many others, and that He can and will do it again.

Everywhere, we see love being smashed, crushed and destroyed. So many people are walking wounded, having never known what it is to really be loved and accepted and embraced.

Real manhood is not to be found in the Red Pill, but in taking up your cross and following Christ.
