There is a time for every purpose under heaven, a time to uproot and a time to tear down, a time to plant and a time to build. This is the time the Lord has strategically set to call the nation of Australia to humble ourselves and pray and seek His face. When we turn from our wicked ways He will hear from heaven and heal our land. There is a call for us to agree with the Lord and use His word and prayer to push back Abortion in Australia. A generation must be born and we all have a part to play. As we fast and pray across the nation with one heart and one mind we will see results that only the Lord can do! To stop the enemy and reverse the curse! We will be given strategies, favour and assignments to uproot the existing status quo and see a continuous shift for the yet to be born to fulfill the call God has for them. The Ecclesia will also build Kingdom ways to carry love with practical solutions to those with unplanned pregnancies and walk alongside those struggling with guilt and shame.

The timing of this call to fast and pray for the 31 days of August is strategic as South Australia has a bill being re-presented to their parliament at the end of August early September. New South Wales currently, and suddenly, are confronted with a bill being introduced to parliament this week to decriminalize abortion called the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019.

We look to the Lord who is a miracle-working God and echo our Prime Minister Scott Morrison, “I believe in miracles!”

Legal Abortion in Australia
For the past 50 years Australia has had legal Abortion. In 1969 Attorney General Robin Millhouse was the architect of the radical abortion reform laws in South Australia. The intent of the reforms, which broke new ground in Australia, was clear. A qualified doctor could legally perform an abortion to preserve a woman’s life or her mental or physical health (actual or reasonably foreseeable) or in cases of possible foetal abnormality.

Millhouse said,

“I deeply regret that the medical profession – and the lawyers – interpreted the law too widely,”“I did not intend it to be that. The best thing was to leave individual cases to the judgement of the medical professional.We have got abortion on demand; I have taken the rap for it. It is something I regret.”

The tragic truth in Australia

– Abortion is the leading cause of death; not cancer or heart disease

– 1 in 4 women have an abortion in their lifetime

– 80,000-100,000 terminations annually

– Globally there are around 56 million terminations per year

“It may be popular, accessible, socially accepted, clothed in smooth language, and justified by an entire ideology, but the human conscience cannot totally ignore something this grave.”

God’s Heart and God’s Strategy
God is the giver of life and He created mankind in His image and likeness. God is not surprised by man’s actions – however God says,

There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
~ Prov 14:12 & 16:25

God loves His creation:

“For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made … My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret, and intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth. Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written the days that were appointed for me, when as yet there was not one of them.”
~ Psalm 139:13-16

The Strategy

1. For Christians, the Ecclesia, to fast and pray ‘as One’ from 1^st to 31^st August 2019, with all kinds of prayer and supplication.
2. To intercede so that “the gate of legal abortions” that opened on December 4^th1969 will begin to close in Australia.
3. Pray the Abortion Reform Bill being presented into South Australian Parliament be stopped with a resounding NO!
4. Pray for the cultural mindsets be shifted in Australia from ideologies and popular culture to Kingdom of Heaven culture that protects the sanctity of life.

Some Suggestions:

1. Fast from something you enjoy – yielding yourself to the Lord’s heart and His desires.
2. Set an alarm at a certain time each day to remind yourself: thank, praise and worship and pray.
3. Meet with others for worship and prayer – ask the Lord what is on His heart to pray.
4. Repent and forgive anything that hinders oneness. Agree together in prayer.
5. Pray the Scriptures, decree His word over our nation.
6. Expect the Lord to triumph over our enemies, and shift this nation to righteousness.
7. Faith & Persistence – Luke 18:7 Jesus: “And will not God give justice to His elect who cry to him day & night?” & v 27 “What is impossible with man is possible with God”.

Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

There is an invitation to us this August to let Him transform us, His Ecclesia, and our nation.

There is so much being ‘called good’ that is evil. Only the Lord can stop this and turn the tide for us. There is a clarion call from Heaven — it will take many to take up their part in this call to fast and pray! We are living in unprecedented times of favour and revelation — it’s a Kairos time. There are some who will pray into the courts of heaven to present a case before our righteous judge, others will be given heaven’s counsel together in groups as they pray with one heart and one mind and others in a prayer of agreement in twos or threes, and others with the Lord in prayer closets will shift this! This time of shedding innocent blood will come to an end.

What grace is ours as we understand what it says in Hebrews 12:24 AMPC:

… you have come to… ‘Jesus, the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].’

Allied Forces Join

It is D-Day, ‘the beginning of the end of the war, as the allied forces join and strategically align to bring a halt to the destruction of lives! God has placed in each of us a passion to see righteousness restored in our nation — especially concerning legislation leading to late term abortion, the destruction of lives of future generations. There have already been battles lost in many states – we humble ourselves before our righteous judge for this curse to be broken. He will give us His swift justice (Luke 18:8 TPT). We will not give up, but take the offensive position and boldly declare the victory and triumph of the cross and resurrection of Jesus and decree His promises!

We are invited as a nation to inquire during this month of prayer and fasting and obey what He tells us to pray and do!

“And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, (nations shall inquire of Him) and His resting place shall be glorious.”
~ Isaiah 11:10 (NKJV)

It is time for Australia to inquire of the Lord. As we listen to His wise counsel, we will have faith to be strategic and resolute.

For the sake of our children and children’s children we will pray according to His pleasing perfect will.

We will also take action where it is most needed, which right now is for the legislation being put forth in South Australia and New South Wales to be stopped, and for the tide to turn in favour of children conceived being given the opportunity to live!

As we Fast and Pray we Receive Solutions

As we lay down ourselves in fasting and prayer, the Lord will give solutions to Australia’s Abortion Issue.

“I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers, who has given me wisdom and might and has made known to me now what we desired of You, for You have made known to us the solution to the king’s problem.”
~ Daniel 2:23

We can be confident in this:

“Then he said, “Don’t be frightened, Daniel, for your request has been heard in heaven and was answered the very first day you began to fast before the Lord and pray for understanding…”
~ Daniel 10:12

Skilful strategy is being given in these days by the Lord. He is calling people to pray from Heaven’s perspective.

“If you solicit good advice, then your plans will succeed. So don’t charge into battle without wisdom, for wars are won by skilful strategy.”
~ Proverbs 20:18
