Cuomo’s Latest Defence – Leftist Governors Just Want to Have Fun
As of this writing (it could be more by the time you read it), three women have come forward claiming that Governor Andrew Cuomo (whom Biden once called “the gold standard”) sexually harassed them.
Two are former aides. One said he grabbed her as she was leaving his office and kissed her “forcibly” on the lips. If it had gone on much longer, he might have recreated the rape scene from “Peyton Place.”
In his defence, Gov. Godfather says he was being playful. But, sadly, sometimes his innocent words and gestures were misunderstood. How do you misinterpret a question like “How do you feel about sex with men in their 60s?”
But, Don Cuomo couldn’t possibly be a sleaze. He’s “pro-choice” and signed one of the toughest laws in the country against workplace harassment. Words like Al Franken, Bill Clinton, and Joe Biden spring to mind.
Don’t you get it? Their posturing is a hunting license. It’s Biblical morality that protects women. Its the morality of the Democrat party — feminism, the sexual revolution, abortion — that turns women into victims.
In the meantime, feminists are maintaining a decorous silence here.
When she was Brett Kavanaugh’s grand inquisitor, Vice President Kamala Harris asked rhetorically: Why would a woman come forward to charge a powerful man (read, Republican) with sexual offenses if it wasn’t true?
But, of course, that doesn’t apply to progressive governors. No word yet from over-the-hill actresses Alyssa Milano and Rosanna Arquette, who claimed the just concluded CPAC conference was an updated Nuremberg rally — in which a score of Jewish speakers participated.
While Cuomo waits for the next few shoes to drop, ponder the fact women were safer in the old days, when they were treated with deference and respect — and wore headgear with hat pins.
