Divine Love: An Appreciative Response for “Great Southland Revival”
Mahlburg and Marsh, two lovers of HIS-story, have chronicled the golden thread of God, as it has woven through time.
The weft and warp of HIS-story is creating a garment fit for a King. A fractal design.
Revival may appear, from our human perspective, partly random, even chaotic at times. It is in essence a never-ending pattern, a seamless fabric, a robe of righteousness.
This work is both accessible and aesthetic in structure and form. It is the creation of two craftsmen of the Word.
God’s Love
For me, revival is a garment of intricate intimacy, a labour of Love.
It is the fabric of His Love that clothes and covers the fractured frailty of humanity. The Love that covers a multitude of sins, with mercy.
Revival, as witnessed through these pages restores the dignity of man to His original design. Image-bearers of the Almighty, arise.
After reading this book, we can but exclaim like the Shulamite to her Beloved:
“Turn, my beloved, and be like a gazelle or a young stag
upon the mountains of Bether (Separation).”
~ Song of Solomon 2:17b
Our revival cry is just that: Lord, ‘Turn, my Beloved.’
Let nothing, let no mountain separate us.
Thank you, Kurt and Warwick, for reminding us of the width and length and depth and height of His Love.
A Love that disqualifies no one from its reach.
The kindling is in place.
This book is part of God’s ignition strategy to ignite the Fire of His Love in this land.
