Intention

To pray for a rising of extravagant prayer and worship across the globe that unleashes the knowledge of the Lord’s true worth, reputation and glory over billions among the nations.

Scripture

“For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts.”

– Malachi 1:11

Reflection

Malachi proclaimed that from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord will be made great! He proclaimed that in every place on the Earth, incense (the prayers of God’s people) will be offered to His name together with a pure offering of worship!

Scripture testifies to a worldwide movement of worship-saturated prayer (incense and a pure offering) that will create a global open heaven for a great end-time harvest. Let’s ask the Lord of Hosts to raise up canopies of worship-fuelled prayer and intercession, where believers across the Earth are praying around the throne, around the clock and around the globe!

During these 21 days of prayer and fasting, let’s pray that the name of the Lord would be made great in every place. It’s His name, it’s His reputation that is at stake in the nations.

Let’s pray for the spread of His fame, for the extension of His reign, for the increase of His gain and for the honour of His claim of that which rightfully belongs to Him. May the name of the Lord be treated and treasured as infinitely valuable on Earth as it is in Heaven.

As Habakkuk 2:14 proclaims,

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”

Our hope is rooted in the promise that the Earth will be ‘full of knowing the Lord as the waters cover the sea.’ The premise is that everywhere God will be present and, in every place, the knowledge of Him will be enjoyed to its fullest expression! He is indescribable in beauty, unfathomable in wisdom, and unparalleled in power!

Father, place Your Son on display across the nations of the Earth! Give your Son the nations as His inheritance.

Enhance Your reputation. May Your name be ‘revealed’ that it might be ‘revered.’ May the knowledge of Your glory come like a ‘tsunami of love’ upon billions of people on the Earth today. For God is great and greatly to be praised!

For Your name’s sake, we pray! Amen.
