Our Lord is Sounding the Trumpet
Our Lord is sounding the trumpet to call His People
To come before Him, at this critical time for the church and the nation.
He has said they are not to return to their old ways.
He is looking at what is happening today, and He can see
No discernible difference to how they used to do things.
They are using the same old liturgies and orders of service.
They are using familiar and comfortable practices.
They seem not to be aware of the shaking of the church and the nation.
Our Lord realigns them at this time.
The nation and the church are staggering from one crisis to another,
And have yet to wake up to the fact that our Lord has begun the refining process.
It will not be a comfortable experience, as the changes that are coming
Are going to be of such a magnitude, it will have an impact that has not been seen before.
They will have to set aside everything that is a distraction to them,
To walk in His ways and obey His command, as they carry the Gospel message
Out into their communities at this time of great darkness.
They are to walk the Scriptures in prayer along,
The streets of the towns, cities and villages of the land.
Our Lord is about to show the new thing He is doing at this time,
Despite the ongoing conflicts that are taking their traumatic and tragic toll amongst the nations.
He will say in the words of the Psalmist – “Be still and wait patiently for the Lord.”
He will tell His People to take note of Matthew Henry’s words –
“When God is about to do something great on earth,
He sets His People a-praying”.
He will remind them of Charles Haddon Spurgeon’s words –
“Brethren, we will not see much change in our churches,
Until the prayer meeting is held in high esteem.
Prayer is an art that only the Holy Spirit can teach.
Pray about prayer until you can pray.”
There is a sense that the Holy Spirit is moving in our day and
Has begun to flow across the land from North to South, and East to West,
There is a wave of glory, that is bringing honour and glory to our Lord.

The Church is wimpy, and it's destroying the nation. That's the blunt assessment of Rev. Chris Wickland, a UK clergyman who refuses to soften the gospel for perceived cultural acceptance. And he has a point. From the rise of "woke" institutional Christianity to the abdication of prophetic witness, the modern Church has traded its backbone for a desperate attempt to attain a disappearing seat at the table.

In a sign of the continuing breakdown of religious freedom in Europe, Finnish parliament member Päivi Räsänen was banned by the U.K. from traveling to Heathrow Airport for a planned layover due to her Finnish Supreme Court conviction in March for authoring a pamphlet containing supposed “hate speech” toward those who identify as LGBT.

Questions on the environment produced the most lopsided results of any category tested, with every single model favouring climate concerns over growth. Removing one model’s “safety” layer moved its religion score from secular-leaning to neutral.

We're told that progressive politics equals compassion, inclusion and kindness. But shocking reactions to Ann Widdecombe's murder — celebrating her death and hoping she died in extreme pain — reveal the socialist left's blatant 'hate speech' hypocrisy and disturbing double standards of the highest degree.

As Democratic Socialists consolidate power at every level of government, House Speaker Mike Johnson is sounding the urgent alarm: these candidates don't want to reform America — they want a revolution to "tear it down to its foundations and create a communist utopia. This is serious stuff."

Artificial intelligence is not merely forcing Christians to answer new ethical questions. AI is forcing the church to revisit much older theological ones: what it means to bear God’s image and which responsibilities can never be delegated to a machine.

Yes the Lord is calling his people to come before him etc
“Be still and know that I am God” is a verse I will never forget as I saw what God can do when we fully understood this verse. It is not about doing nothing but moving forward fully aware of His presence.
I dropped to my knees when I got home after watching God take-over Court proceedings like I have never seen before and it was a privilege of being fully aware of His presence and actions.
That was just one event in my life I will never forget and can’t wait to see what He will do when not just random prayer groups seek His presence but all churches across our nation put prayer first for the needs of their congregation, region and nation.
