‘Miracle’: Shocking New Footage Shows Just How Close Donald Trump Came to Death
Our world has changed so much in recent times. In the past, we all had our trusted source of current affairs. Today, there is an avalanche of ‘news’ and ‘commentary’ continually falling on us. How do we make sense of it all? Do we just give up and go back to our own lives? I hope not.
As this week has unfolded since Saturday 13 July and the attempt on former US president Donald J. Trump’s life, there has been an avalanche of commentary. Let me bring you three outstanding posts.
‘Miracle’: Shocking new footage shows just how close Donald Trump came to death
From Sky, we see Trump entering the Republican Convention where he was officially named as the Republican Nominee for the upcoming Presidential election in November. He is greeted by the loudest welcome any can remember, chanting ‘USA’, ‘We love you’ and ‘Fight’.
Trump was uncommonly subdued but visibly moved by the support from the crowd. Not surprising, as we are shown computer animation that shows how close he came to death. Reflecting on the timing of the shooter, the timing of Trump’s turning of his head to the right to read off a graph depicting the rise of illegal immigrants — it is impossible for me to see this as nothing but the hand of God.
Christians and atheists alike are invoking a miracle of Divine intervention. For me, the magnitude of this miracle has forced the left, the Democrats, to sit up in wonder. How come their evil schemes and rhetoric had gone so horribly wrong? Their appeal to God is their only legitimate escape.
Former US Army sniper on Trump assassination attempt: ‘One of the easiest shots’
From Fox News, we hear from Republican Senator for Florida, Cory Mills, former US Army Sniper. Cory explains that the shot that the would-be assassin had to make was the easiest ever. Cory said:
It would take me five minutes to teach you to make that shot 9 times out of 10.
He went on:
This is Divine intervention, God having His protective hand, and wearing the Ephesians 6 armour of God over the President.
All this after President Joe Biden’s having recently said that it’s time to put a target on Trump. Cory said that, in his opinion, this was ‘insightful rhetoric’.
It seems to me that the left has been cornered. They can’t rationally argue against the swelling support for Trump, so they have succumbed to the evil schemes of the devil and his fallen angels. They won’t be prosecuted for this, indicting the judiciary as complicit. This is pure evil. This has become an election between good and evil. Rational debate over policies is long gone!
Is This Evidence God Saved Trump From a Bullet?
The secular world is talking about Trump having been saved from the bullet, as the hand of God. This is astounding! I don’t think I have ever heard of this.
Further, consider what Trump tweeted after his survival of the assassination attempt:
It was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will fear not, but instead remain resilient in our faith and defiant in the face of wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families, pray for the recovery of those who were wounded and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed.
Don’t switch off after halfway through this video. The second half contains a Christian witnessing to an unbeliever. The Christian pulls no punches at all. I have never heard such a gracious but so direct witnessing to the power of the Gospel. I was a wreck watching this. It’s a must-see, and please share it as widely as you can.
What do we make of all this?

President Donald J. Trump is just a man like us, but it seems to me that he is being used by God to bring America back to her founding principles. I would encourage you to leave behind the left vs. right debate; rather, recognise that this is a much simpler but much more critical battle between good and evil.

Thank you, Warwick. I do believe that the split second ‘coordination’ between deciding what second to fire, squeezing the trigger, the time the bullet took to reach its target and Trump’s head move, can not be anything other than a miracle! The third video with the filming of an ‘act of witnessing’, is brilliant! I have never ‘witnessed’ anything like that in all my 52 years walking with the Lord!
It is incredible, awesome in the true sense of the word, to realise God saved Donald Trump. Maybe this will be the catalyst for a turning to God by President Trump and all of America .
I pray that as Donald Trump reflects on these events he will turn back to the God of his youth and upbringing, repent of his sins and depend on God to lead the way now, not Donald J Trump schemes or other schemes of his party or men… Impossible? All is possible with God!

No, it really hasn’t. It’s like any election, it’s a contest between two imperfect political parties. To suggest otherwise is simply to fall into the unfortunate extreme polarisation that is affecting our politics the world over.
John, I respect your take. When I wrote that I genuinely saw the state of the US presidential race as a good vs evil fight. How else can you describe the desecration of US cities under the Left as anything other than evil. The streets of many parts of cities no longer safe, and this is due to the withdraw of ‘law enforcement’. On the other hand, the Right has pledged to protect Americans from evil, to restore the dignity of their founding fathers who have been rejected by the Left. How is this not a good vs evil?
Now the people involved in the race. Are they good, certainly not, non is good save God alone. But it seems to me that one side of imperfect human beings seems to be standing up for good.

Thankyou Jim, you have encapsulated our thoughts. We believe that Gods people are rallying to pray for those in power & we look to the One who holds out future.
The greatest outcome of this is that people cannot deny that without divine intervention Donald Trump would no longer be with us and whatever this outcome might bring in the political arena may it bring more people to be emboldened to share their faith and trust in God.
Anna, it seems to me, and I have not heard any commentary on this, that if Trump had been assassinated, the US could have been heading to civil war by now. That’s serious. So in my book, God has given America one more chance.
Australia has the same problems as the USA. People need to turn to the Christian God to overcome the Evil which is destroying Australia. I am so glad Trump was not assassinated.
Countess, so true, but Australia is very different from the US in so many ways. Our cities are currently, largely, in a much better place than their, so most people cant see or feel the evil. Also we don’t have a groundswell of national pride and passion for good that the US has. That’s what I am praying into. Amen, and Amen.
