Love France Gives Thanks for 1000+ New Believers
Love France, an initiative of International Prayer Connect, gives thanks that over 1000 people have put their faith in Jesus Christ during the Olympic Games outreaches.
Thank you so much for being part of Love France, and for your prayers for France, the Games and Para-Games and the outreaches taking place! This really is a key moment for this nation.
During the Games, countless lives have been transformed – not just by athletic achievements but by encounters with Jesus Christ. Over 2,500 missionaries from various organisations mobilised across the city, leading over a thousand people to faith.
YWAM saw 250 commitments to Christ and ministered to over 3,500 people, witnessing numerous miraculous healings. Similarly, Awakening Europe’s ‘Unite Paris24’ saw 152 conversions, including the remarkable healing of a man with a bullet wound.
The efforts extended beyond Paris, with groups like ‘Next Move’ focusing on southern France, strengthening local Christian community efforts through sports and festivals. Hundreds of thousands of Bibles and tracts were distributed across the country.
Other initiatives included the Paris Praise Festival and Christian art galleries, offering solace and sparking spiritual conversations among visitors. The Olympic Village chaplaincy, where thirty Protestant chaplains served, provided support and a spiritual haven for athletes, many of whom shared their faith after their competitions.
Throughout the Games, 24/7 prayer efforts have undergirded the spiritual impact. The France 1 Million initiative has seen the gifting of nearly 840,000 prayers from 110 nations across the worldwide Church – for France. Thank you!
Gift of 1 Million Prayers
International Prayer Connect (IPC) along with many of our international partners are collaborating to raise a gift of 1 million prayers from the worldwide Church, for France this Summer. So far, nearly 840,000 prayers have been pledged from 110 countries.
We all know that it’s not essentially about numbers… each individual prayer is precious, and each prayer is important. This is a practical and visible way for us to encourage the Church across France, and to demonstrate that we are standing with them as they step up to the challenges and opportunities that the main and para-games have provided.
We invite you to make a pledge on behalf of yourself and your church to pray with us over the next three weeks!
Thank you for Praying!
We appreciate that there are many critical situations around the world at this time, all warranting our intercession. Thank you for making time to also pray for Paris and the nation of France!
Every blessing
