Jordan Peterson and Russell Brand at MAGA Rally

Jordan Peterson and Russell Brand Lead MAGA Rally in Reciting the Lord’s Prayer

Jordan Peterson kneeled with Russell Brand onstage, in an unscripted, two-minute public prayer over the weekend.

He then joined Brand in reciting the Lord’s Prayer.

According to Brand, the pairing wasn’t meticulously planned. They were thrown some microphones, then put onstage.

Brand described the set as a “rap battle, where he and Peterson both advocate for freedom, for Christ, for liberty, and new forms of unity.”

The impromptu 30-minute talk was part of a Make America Great Again (MAGA), Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) rally.

MAHA’s partnership with MAGA is the fruit of the Trump-Vance-Kennedy unity ticket taking on the Uniparty.

The event was organised by atheist, evolutionary biologist, and fierce COVID overreach critic, Bret Weinstein.

It’s also part of Weinstein’s Rescue the Republic: Join the Resistance movement, which is an extension of his anti-mandate work.

With its Libertarian flair for the Christ-centred Classical Liberal, there’s a lot to like.

Rescue the Republic’s eight pillars include:

Rescue the Republic 8 pillars

Against Tyranny

Addressing how to Rescue the Republic and Join the Resistance, Peterson told those gathered,

“The Divine Sovereign principle under which we all operate, is in no small part a fundamental protection against the totalitarian assumption that the leader himself is God.”

In other words, Government over God, is government gone wrong.

“Heaven, help us,” he added, “and seriously so, if we ever fall into that delusion.”

Brand replied,

“The State will say it cares, and wants to protect us, by locking you in your homes, and injecting you with medications that haven’t endured proper ethical experimentation.”

“We would never accept centralised control,” he explained.

“So instead, they tell us they love us, and that they’re trying to protect the vulnerable.

“But today, we must say to the globalist bureaucratic state, get your help off us!”

The State knows it cannot impose its beast-like self-centred totalitarianism on us directly, so they will do it indirectly, through safetyism.

In agreement, Peterson fired back,

“We must place ourselves in the service of the Divine Logos, not in the service of narrow, and immature hedonistic self-will.

“Let your speech and actions be guided by the highest possible good.”

Contrasting selfishness with sacrifice, Brand described himself as an “apostate”, testifying that he “formerly belonged to the culture of Hollywood.”

“I’ve been in their movies.

“I’ve experienced at depth, and at length, the treasures of the culture — it’s excitement, pleasure, distraction, and like any addict, recovery is only possible when you accept a spiritual solution.”

Alluding to repentance, Brand continued,

“You become what you’re attached to.

“It seems to me that’s not an accident, that our culture is predicated on consuming, selfishness, distraction, the mundane, and the banal.”

The State demands citizen transparency, yet gives itself “maximum privacy.”

We, Brand explained, “are like rats in laboratories, stimulated into distraction, and compliance.”

It’s the “spectacle of politics.”

“Where there’s no principle or values to undergird it, all that’s left are celebrities, and empty language.

“TV shows where celebrities are paraded before you to willingly endorse ideas, policies, foods, wars and power.”

Things those celebrities, will “never eat or suffer the consequences of – I think we genuinely know it’s not their children that die beneath the flags.”

Similarly, it’s “not their children who’ll be eating” what these same celebrities are endorsing.

Peterson replied,

“I’ll close with this: it’s been said that by their fruits, you will know them.

“I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to separate the wheat from the chaff, and identify the true leaders who are at your service, and not manipulating you.

“If you’re being terrified into compliance, you’re being manipulated by tyrants.”

Tyrants, Peterson, concluded, “use fear and they use force. What you want instead from your leaders is an invitational welcome.”

That’s why we’re here, he told the crowd, “We’re inviting you to bear responsibility for your life; that’s precisely what’s made America great.”

Heartfelt Prayer

Russell Brand then led Jordan Peterson in prayer.

This was the simple, yet sophisticated, bouncing off the complex, and carefully coordinated.

If Jordan Peterson isn’t a Christian, the sun doesn’t set in the West.

This might seem bold, even presumptuous, and, of course, I may one day eat those words.

That day is not today.

Other speakers in the lineup included Tulsi Gabbard, Rob Schneider, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Dr Robert Malone, and Daily Wire comedy regular Tyler Fischer.

Music for the MAGA-MAHA event was hammered out by Skillet, Five Times August, Zuby, and Struggle Jennings, among others.

Fascinating … for the times are a-changin’ …
Jesus said, When I am lifted up from the earth I will draw all men to myself.

May this amazing public honouring of Christ be a catalyst to much more of the same, and send demonic spirits running.

May these men of significant influence, and whoever ‘listens’ to them, truly know YHWH the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He sent. John 17:3

WOW – Who is really leading? Who is God raising up? This is an indictment on the ‘woke’ and lukewarm Churches.
Pray for them both to know the Lord in a deeper way.
We all need to follow this lead.

As Kym Said WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This article is one of the most amazing articles I have ever read in the sense it details how God is moving in the broader community outside the church. The guy that organised this rally was Bret Weinstein who is an evolutionary biologist and atheist but a very honest and couragoues man. YOu could not script this event. Only GOD could do this! Soli Deo Gloria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is absolutely and completely brilliant. God is raising up a number of fiercely courageous, articulate and intelligent men and women who all have truth and freedom deeply embedded into their souls be The Creator. Thank God god that he’s using them in their positions of influence when sadly the church’s voice has been a lot less influential than it otherwise could/should be. May the Lord richly bless and grant divine protection for every one of the men and women mentioned in this article.

Rod, extraordinary! Doesn’t this lighten our darkness! This sends shivers down my spine! Who would have thought it? I have watched Russell for a few years now, sort of our of the corner of my eye. Yes he is still a showman but see to whom this showman is pointing! His prayer, in a public gathering like that! Wow! To God bee the Glory, for Ever and Ever, Amen!
