Join Felicity and Nic Taylor in Prayer Walking for Australia
In one of the most extraordinary prayer initiatives we’ve seen in Australia, a young family from remote Western Australia is prayer walking across the nation to cry out to God for Aussie salvations and spiritual renewal.
Felicity Taylor, her husband Nic, and their four children are currently trekking 2,500 kilometres through the heart of the nation — from Sturt Creek in the Kimberley to Yaraka in western Queensland.
Inspired by the Taylor family’s dedicated and sacrificial example, the Canberra Declaration has supported them throughout their journey.
But now we are calling Australian Christians to set aside one hour on a Saturday morning to prayer walk your own neighbourhood.
If Felicity Taylor can walk 2,500 km across Australia, we can walk for one hour on Saturdays! And thanks to Zoom, believers across the country can join Felicity and Nic as they walk and pray to God for a harvest of souls.
Watch the Taylors invite you to prayer walk with them in the 1:40 video below!
Raising Up a Prayer and Prayer Walk Movement
We are delighted to partner with the Taylors in calling for the multiplication of prayer for the salvation of Aussies and the spiritual transformation of the nation.
As Charles Spurgeon said, “True prayer is neither a mere mental exercise nor a vocal performance. It is far deeper than that. It is a spiritual transaction with the Creator of Heaven and Earth.”
The Taylor family began their prayer journey in April and expects to finish in September.
For the next several Saturday mornings, Felicity and Nic Taylor will join the Prayer Walk Zoom call. Believers across Australia will join their prayers with the Taylors’ as we walk to bless our nation, neighbourhoods, and each other.

What Felicity is doing in prayer walking across Australia could be summed up in the third point for the Reach Australia 2033 declaration:
“We commit to praying and raising up prayer, both personally and within the Church, for the salvation of souls — for our families, friends, neighbours, co-workers, and the people of our nation and the world — remembering the principle of sowing and reaping, that as we pray and support the Gospel harvest in other nations, God will bring a great harvest in our own.”
Arguably, the amazing success of the Australian Evangelism Roundtable in Brisbane on the 11–12 July 2025 could have a lot to do with Felicity’s faithful prayer walk across the outback of Australia, praying for a harvest of souls.
Whatever the case, we know St Augustine was right to say,
“Without God, we cannot. Without us, He will not.”
Please watch the inspiring story of Felicity, Nic, their children, and their heart for Australia in the video below. They truly are a remarkable family.
As you prayer walk for your neighbourhood on Saturday mornings, you will be joined by many others with a heart to see their own communities transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Billy Graham once said,
“Whether prayer changes our situation or not, one thing is certain: Prayer will change us!”
Graham also observed,
“If [Jesus] felt that He had to pray, how much more do we need to pray!”
So let us follow in the footsteps of our forerunner, Jesus, our Saviour and our God.

This would not have been possible without the extraordinary financial support we received during June’s Matching Challenge. Once again, our sincere and hearty THANK YOU!
May God richly bless you, draw you ever closer to Himself, and move in our nation so that we see sinners putting their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yours for rising up an Australia-wide prayer movement for the salvation and spiritual transformation of Australia,
Warwick Marsh & Samuel Hartwich
