They’re Watching Us
Nation First looks into the eSafety Commissioner’s surveillance regime.
They’ve got more than 10,000 documents on me. You read that right: ten thousand.
Via a Freedom of Information application, I discovered that the unelected digital enforcers at the Office of the eSafety Commissioner, led by Julie Inman Grant (the bureaucratic high priestess of censorship herself), are sitting on a mountain of files about me, my platforms, my posts, my podcasts, and even this Nation First Substack newsletter.
- The eSafety Commissioner is holding over 10,000 records on me, tracking my posts, podcasts, and publications like I’m some kind of criminal.
- They’ve flagged 2,600+ records on The Daily Declaration and 2,500+ on CitizenGO, both Christian, pro-family, pro-freedom groups.
- They say most of it is “media monitoring”, but we all know what it really is: surveillance of dissenters and conservatives.
- When I asked for access to my own data under FOI laws, they cried “too hard,” claiming it would take over 400 hours to process.
- This is digital authoritarianism, plain and simple, and if they’re doing it to me, they’re doing it to you too.
The Office of the eSafety Commissioner has all this data on me, and yet it’s acting like it’s no big deal. “Just media monitoring,” they say. “Automated reports,” they shrug. As if the quiet compiling of public statements I’ve made is somehow normal.
Let me ask you: when did it become acceptable for a government agency to track citizens like this?
We’re not talking about terrorists. We’re not talking about foreign agents. We’re talking about Australians. Conservatives. Christians. Dissenters. People who dare speak up for family, faith, and freedom.
And I’m not the only one in their crosshairs. The Daily Declaration, a Christian news ministry, also recently put in a Freedom of Information request and was told the eSafety Commissioner is sitting on over 2,600 records about them, too. That includes data about respected leaders like Warwick Marsh and Samuel Hartwich. Their only “crime”? Speaking out. Standing firm. Refusing to bow to the woke orthodoxy infecting every level of our government.
And guess who else they’ve got files on?
CitizenGO. A global pro-life, pro-family, pro-freedom movement that I proudly work with. Over 2,500 records. Think about that. A volunteer-based advocacy group fighting to protect the unborn and defend basic human rights, and our own Australian government is treating them like enemies of the state.
This isn’t a conspiracy theory. This isn’t speculation. This is fact.
Digital Authoritarianism
You know what’s worse? When I asked for my files, using the exact legal channels provided under the Freedom of Information Act, the eSafety Commissioner’s office blocked me. They told me reviewing my file would take over 400 hours, as if I should apologise for daring to ask how deeply they’ve dug into my life.
You might be thinking, “But George, if it’s all public information, who cares?”
Let me tell you something: the creation of a digital dossier, one that aggregates your posts, tracks your influence, and maps your network, is not harmless. It’s power. It’s control. And in the wrong hands, or even the hands of ideologues cloaked in government titles, it’s a weapon.
I always suspected they were watching. But seeing an official letter from the Office of the eSafety Commission admitting they had over 10,000 records on me has confirmed it. That’s surveillance and targeted data harvesting on a scale most Aussies can’t even imagine.
This is not what freedom looks like. This is not what democracy is supposed to be. This is digital authoritarianism dressed up in pastel colours and bureaucratic buzzwords. And it’s happening right now, in our supposedly free country.
They’re not just watching me. They’re watching you.
And unless we speak up, push back, or raise our voices against the creeping technocratic nightmare swallowing our culture, they will come for you too.
Don’t say you weren’t warned.

For busy people this is very useful. I’ve also used The Golden Sceptre before today, to lobby as well.
Methinks we should get wisdom as to what to post on social media. If authorities are worried about us (e.g. maybe they’ve been lied to; someone has said “whatch out for such and such, he’s (fill in the blank; he’s someone dangerous)), then they need to know that we’re not.
An example is something that was on the news a while back, about some “conspiracy theorist(s)”, and the police got involved, and there may have been a shoot out (my memory is hazy). Sending the message that “conspiracy theorists” are dangerous, and pose a threat to lives and safety.
But if they knew how opposed we were to violence (aside from say necessary fighting, when our army has to protect our country), or whatever the worry is, they’re going to see it in our social media that we aren’t what they were concerned we were, that they were lied to.
But too bad if being against islam (not muslims, but the religious system) was considered a threat. Or being anti woke. Then that’s different. But even with that, do they think we are their enemy, because we are anti woke ideology? Maybe there is a whisper in their ear that anyone who opposes lgbt ideology is actually a threat to their safety. Or anti islam people are going to rise up and do harm to muslims. I don’t know what goes through the mind of people who want to survelliance us. But perhaps it’s a lot of lies whispered in their ears. Maybe they are afraid that they will lose big time if we are too many, and thus we are viewed as enemies.
Meh, me and my late night musings. But wisdom is key. We’re gonna need a truckload of it. Especially if the islamists get their way with their request to Albanese. Say goodbye to being able to say anything against Islam without penalties. Is the islamaphobia hotline up and running yet? Not much time.
If it takes 400 hours to retrieve your records, their IT staff should be sacked for incompetence.
A more likely alternative: that excuse is complete, made up nonsense.
Either way, heads should roll.
