Hope Is Spreading! Evangelism With Hope Cards
It’s now been several months since Youth for Christ officially launched Hope Cards as an evangelism resource available in Australia from our online store.
How Does it Work?
This simple tool has provided a fun and easy way to equip believers to start a faith conversation and also a powerful seed to sow – with each card linking to the DiscoverHope.online webpage featuring hope stories and a Gospel message.
We are getting amazing feedback about the cards from both in-person and online interactions where people have found hope in Jesus or Christians have stepped out to share their faith for the first time.
This is Exactly What I Have Been Searching For!
After being given a card, one girl sat staring at it with tears streaming down her cheeks saying, “this is exactly what I have been searching for.” After receiving prayer and hearing the Gospel, both this girl and the friend she was with gave their lives to Jesus.
A troubled young man gave his life to Jesus after a Hope Card he found in his local supermarket led him to the website. He has now been connected to a local pastor and is taking steps to turn his life around.
A recent outreach using the Hope Cards in Brisbane saw 72 believers trained and sent out – 28 Christians shared their faith for the first time with 23 salvations in one weekend.
The Harvest is Ripe!
The harvest is ripe and there are many more people in our nation waiting to hear the Good News – that there is hope, and His name is Jesus!
We’re continuing to develop and grow the Hope Movement initiative and other resources to spread the Good News of Jesus in our nation and there’s some exciting new tools coming soon.
