The World Burns as Penny Wong Pushes DEI at the United Nations
Penny Wong has complained that more women must be allowed to address the United Nations General Assembly if world peace is ever to be achieved.
The world is on fire. But, true to form, our foreign minister is concerned about DEI.
Wong, who believes the best way to achieve peace with terrorist organisations Hamas and Hezbollah is by giving them what they want, was one of 20 women to address the UN last week.

And while the UN boasted about the number of women standing at the podium, Wong was less than impressed.
She tweeted last Friday:
“It is an honour to speak for Australia at the UN General Assembly.
“But 20 women speakers out of 195 is not enough at the world’s premier peace forum.
This, of course, begs a number of uncomfortable questions…
Equality
First, how many women speaking at the UN would be enough?
Forty? One hundred? One hundred and fifty?
Second, what is a woman?
State and Federal Labor Governments have insisted that men self-identifying as women can change their legal documents, participate in women’s sports and access women’s private spaces.
Third, what if 100 women addressed the UN, but they were all white, or straight, or ‘cis-gendered’? Would that then be a source of injustice that threatened world peace?
What percentage of the female speakers should be Asian? Or lesbian? Or have a penis?
Fourth, what is more important? The gender of the speakers? Or a commitment by speakers — regardless of gender — not to sell out their own people’s national sovereignty to globalist organisations such as the World Health Organisation and the World Economic Forum?
And just for fun, how’s women’s equality going in Gaza compared to, say, Tel Aviv? Who has the better record on women’s rights? Hamas? Or Israel?
One more thing. Wong calls the UN the world’s “premier peace forum”. Really? When was the last time the United Nations brought peace anywhere in the world?
As for Penny Wong’s concern with women’s rights? Spare me.
Wong was so concerned about women’s rights during her visit to the Middle East this year that she refused to visit Southern Israel, where women were raped and taken hostage on October 7.
And she refused an invitation to watch a 45-minute video of the atrocities committed.
Just couldn’t find the time.
Has time to tweet nonsense, though.
She added:
“Evidence shows women are key to long-term conflict resolution. When women participate, peace agreements are more likely to last.”
Hmmm. Really? I have two words:

Brilliant James. I think women should be in the home mothering and “wifing “.. Raising a generation of wise loving offspring in a happy, healthy home. Lord restore the years the locusts have eaten.
What a crazy World when men can be “women ” and vice versa ! All these women (whatever being a “woman ” means now !) in power have not brought peace or made the World a happier place. They are just as bad as the men. Women’s place should be at home, being good wives and mothers . Penny Wong , please just disappear ! As usual, loved your article, James.
