COVID19 Call to Prayer – May 4: Heavenly Riches
Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. …
And my God will meet all your needs
according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Paul says he doesn’t need anything, but he is grateful for the ministry and sharing he receives from others. This is what real Christianity is – we share in one another’s troubles, and we know that God will meet all our needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Right now, people are talking about how much the government can afford to help people, schools, and businesses. People are looking for a slice of the pie – which is limited. But with God there is no limit – because He gives to His people according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Join me in praying that we would understand more of what those riches are.

- Denmark – The number of confirmed cases is 9,721, with 484 deaths of those with Covid-19.
Denmark is considered to be one of the more successful nations in dealing with Covid-19.
After an early lockdown, they have recently opened up more. - South Australia – now has had 438 cases (up 0 from a week ago), with 4 deaths. Yesterday they began to ease some restrictions, including opening up play parks.
Australia has a whole has gone up to 6,801 (up 18 in a day). There have been 95 deaths (up 0).
5,817 people have recovered (up 11). 75 are in hospital (28 in ICU). 633,107 people have been tested, with 1.1% being positive. - Political leaders throughout the world – that they would be given wisdom and humility.
- Churches who are looking for new pastors in a time of crisis.
- For Christians who are struggling with cancer – pray for healing, care and a sense of the Lord’s peace and presence.
A Prayer of Repentance:
Holy Lord,
I have sinned times without number, and been guilty of pride and unbelief,
of failure to find Your mind in Your Word,
of neglect to seek You in my daily life.
My transgressions and shortcomings present me with a list of accusations,
But I bless you that they will not stand against me,
For all have been laid on Christ.

Lord Jesus – You paid it all. We owe all to You.
Out of Your glorious riches, You have not only forgiven our sins,
but will graciously give us all things.
Help us to see Your glory, that we might know how rich we are! Amen.
