Restore Britain’s Rupert Lowe: “Britain Is a Christian Country, and It Will Remain So.”

Rupert Lowe launches Restore Britain with an unapologetically Christian platform, vowing cultural restoration, mass deportations and bold defence of Western values — even at political cost.

The United Kingdom’s newest political party is asserting an unapologetic Christian position.

Rupert Lowe officially launched Restore Britain on February 13, asserting that,

“Britain is a Christian country, and under a Restore Britain Government, it will remain a Christian country.”

The blunt and unapologetic approach contrasts with Nigel Farage’s Reformed UK.

Drawing a Line with Nigel Farage

Despite the “Farage-factor”, Reform UK typically only hat-tips Britain’s Christian heritage and does so in polite, timid tones that are not offensive to Muslims.

Giving rise to Restore Britain, Farage has repeatedly shied away from criticising Islam.

He’s even faced criticism from former supporters like Lowe, who said in April 2025 that Farage’s fear of losing the so-called ‘Muslim vote” was depressing.

“It’s depressing to hear Farage echoing the same fearful rhetoric we’ve heard for decades,” Lowe, a farmer and MP, wrote on social media at the time.

Responding to a video of Farage expressing Reform UK’s policy on Islam, Lowe said, “It’s fatalistic to state that if we ‘politically alienate’ Islam, we will lose.”

This is the kind of “defeatist thinking that has crippled Western resolve for so many long years – cowardice led us into this mess, it will certainly not lead us out.”

“This is not a question of alienating individuals, or of disrespecting peaceful law-abiding Muslims,” Lowe explained.

This is about “whether Western democracies still possess the confidence and the courage to robustly defend our values, in the same way Muslim countries do.”

“We must not shape our politics and our whole way of life in order to avoid offending a particular religion.”

If, Lowe protested, “Western nations must compromise every political stance, censor honest debate, and soften our principles simply to avoid upsetting Islam, then we’ve already lost.”

“For far too long, crippling fear has dominated conversations around Islam.”

“In the process, we have created a climate where genuine concerns about integration, extremism, and parallel societies/systems are dismissed as ‘racist’ or ‘Islamophobic’.”

“We’ve all seen the very dark places where that bleak attitude can lead — it does not end well, at all.”

This “cowardice is boringly repetitive,” Lowe continued.

That cowardice has “allowed countless European cities to change beyond recognition, for free speech to be radically undermined, and for our liberal values to be eroded all in the name of ‘multiculturalism’.”

Slamming the latter, Lowe said, “I don’t want multiculturalism. We have a culture, and it works just fine.”

“I would argue that in certain parts of the country, many followers of Islam have already ‘politically alienated’ themselves by electing openly sectarian MPs.”

These are the MPs who have “reduced the Pakistani Muslim rape gang scandal to a ‘false right-wing narrative.’”

They also “hold infinitely more passion for Gaza than their own neglected constituencies.”

“Farage believes that the political cost of defending British values is too high. That’s his choice.”

“My view? Our values are worth protecting, even if it’s politically inconvenient.”

Restoration, Not Reform

While announcing Restore Britain’s registration last week, Lowe boldly declared,

“I would rather be labelled a racist than enable rape.”

“Britain does not need tinkering, minor reform around the edges. It needs restoration. Full-scale restoration.”

“I can no longer pretend,” Lowe added, “that the existing political structures are capable of delivering the scale of change this country now needs, at the pace that is now required.”

“This is why I am today launching Restore Britain as a national political party.”

“At the next General Election, we will put forward hundreds of qualified candidates from outside the existing political establishment.”

Here, Lowe vowed, “they will not be failed ministers. They will not be politicians.”

“They will be men and women who have succeeded in their own fields and want to deliver a better Britain.”

“Restore Britain will not manage mass immigration,” he affirmed.

They will not just stop mass immigration. Restore Britain, Lowe said, will implement mass deportations and halt legal migration.

“The barbarians are already at the gates. For the foreseeable future, far more people must leave Britain than arrive.”

“A country simply cannot survive without shared expectations and a shared culture.”

Continuing, Lowe said he made no apologies.

“If a foreign national is living in Britain and unable to speak English, refuses to work, claims benefits, lives in social housing, hates our way of life, or even wants to do us harm?”

“They must leave or be made to leave.”

Lowe’s broader policies included ending overregulation and reducing taxation.

Britain’s current asylum-seeking system would also be axed.

The current system is being scammed by traffickers and criminals, he explained.

Reindustrialisation, better backing for British farmers, and ending the HR cult that “paralyses and blackmails employers” also made the grade.

As did Christianity and culture.

“Restore Britain will openly recognise the Christian heritage that shaped this country’s moral and civic foundations,” Lowe stated.

Such as “responsibility, duty, restraint, forgiveness and fairness.”

Optimistic, Low still clarified that this was not a “miracle cure.”

“It will require discipline. It will require courage. It will require patience,” he said.

“And it will require the willingness to accept short-term discomfort in exchange for long-term national restoration.”

Implications Beyond Britain

Lowe’s words are relevant to Australia’s socio-political newsfeeds.

First, they embolden people and political parties to return the nation to its roots of redemption, repentance and therefore restoration in Jesus Christ. (John 15:5)

Secondly, they encourage poll-leaders, One Nation, to hold the line by not toeing the line.

Lowe’s resolve is an example of handing the “that’s Islamophobia” hat back.

His comments from last year and last week read like direct advice for Pauline Hanson and would-be One Nation voters.

This week, the One Nation leader was the target of a coordinated effort to hurt the party in the polls.

Legacy media and career politicians bandwagoned the weaponisation of remarks Hanson made about so-called “good Muslims”.

The hate-on-Hanson campaign came complete with Australian Labor PM, Anthony Albanese, attempting to link One Nation with alleged “extremist threats against a mosque” in a majority Muslim suburb of Sydney.

As Dr Joanna Howe aptly put it,

“The media is currently doing a hit job on Hanson because of her comments on Sky News that Islam is a fundamentally oppressive and violent religion.”

To borrow further from Dr Howe’s remarks, Lowe and Hanson are both right.

“They’re not racists. They’re realists.”

I would like for Rupert and Ben Habib join forces. Advance UK have some real warriors too.
Unfortunately, the clash of ego’s will probably make this coalition impossible.
    Sounds familiar, doesn’t it.
Farage doesn’t seem to have the intestinal fortitude to truly carry out the massive reform to turn GB away from the edge of the cliff it is clinging to.

Good observations. Especially with regards to the “clash of egos.” Pray in earnest that narcissists and the sin of pride will be exposed and that a return to humility – not to be confused with a call to weakness – will win the day.

Rupert Lowe , founder of “Restore Britain ” , wants to save Christian Britain, no Sharia Law , and the deportation of those who refuse to integrate and want to live forever on welfare, etc. His aim is to make Britain wealthy again. He is uncompromising with Islam . Britain is Christian and should remain Christian ! He insists he will not accept as candidates for his Party any ex or current politicians. I am not sure Barnaby Joyce is right for One Nation and Australia because he indicates Compromise with Muslims, the same path we have been on for many years and which now threatens the very fabric of our social and political stability and economic prosperity of Australia which should remain a Christian nation.
