Alan Steele
Alan Steele was born in Rotherham, England, in 1967. His parents moved to Australia, to the Illawarra, when he was 9 months old. He has lived there ever since. Alan enjoys working with his hands. He runs his own company, working closely with a friend who is a carpenter. Together, they take on building and renovation projects with the aim of improving the lives of others with their skills.
Alan sees the value in everyone, and has a passion to include and encourage those he meets. He believes it is important to understand people, and see where they have come from and where they could go. Alan has been greatly influenced by his father, a man of great resolve, and taught him to value family and always put them first.
