In a few weeks’ time after the federal election, we will either have some sort of conservative government in, with all its faults, but with at least some really good MPs among them, or we will have a Greens-Labor government in, further destroying what is left of Australia.

Let us pray for a godly and righteous outcome to this election, knowing that only the Lord is God, and He has good and wise desires for this nation.

Over the past few days, there have been at least three terrific wins when it comes to the gender wars, the sexual revolutionaries, and protecting women. Three nations have seen significant victories for some sexual sanity in the culture wars, with the radical trans agenda being given a few big hits.

Throughout much of the West, we have forgotten what it is to be a man. Or worse yet, we have demonised men and manliness. Jesus Christ is our perfect example and role model of masculinity. We need to reclaim the biblical Jesus.

Christians in the West, of course, affirm – or should affirm – the reality of the spiritual realm, including dark spiritual powers such as Satan and demons. However, when push comes to shove, do we really believe these things?

Both Richard Grant and Keith Windschuttle made vital contributions to the state of the nation and beyond. You two men will be missed. May we have many more champions like them to take their place.

The reason why more and more people today – at least in the West – seem unable to cope with life is because they are believing in and living lies – thus, they keep crashing headlong into reality. And it hurts.

We have plenty of evil rulers doing great harm today all around the globe. But like Manasseh, God is fully aware of them, and their days are numbered as well.

There is not a toddler on the planet who can even remotely be considered to be transphobic or homophobic or anything else. But what even quite young children do know is there is a difference between girls and boys. It takes a fool activist adult to try to convince them otherwise.

Decades ago, we warned that the public promotion of radical sexual agendas would have worrying and lasting repercussions. We were mocked and scorned for saying this. Now, the trans militants are working overtime, targeting women and children especially.

Believers can have differing views on things like AI, but the discerning Christian will know that we must fully face these issues and not underestimate the harm that they can do.

All sorts of folks from a range of worldviews and ideologies are working through politics to see their values become dominant in our society. Christians should not be ashamed of sharing their concerns and hopes for a good society, one based on the goodness and wisdom of God.

We all sin. And that includes Christians. Some sins are more obvious and overt than others. When a pastor or Christian leader sins – often in the form of sexual sin – it is manifest to lots of people. How should Christians respond to these situations?

I do not want to minimise what believers in Syria and elsewhere are now experiencing. But whatever suffering and persecution we go through, we know that it is limited in duration, that Satan has been overcome and Christ’s enemies will be dealt with, and we will live with our Lord forever.

Why are so many males running away from their own masculinity? There would be many reasons for this, and sadly, the church is not exempt from responsibility for this. It, too, has warred against men and masculinity.

There are numerous reasons why it can be argued that Anthony Albanese is the worst Prime Minister Australia has ever had. If not the worst, then certainly in the top two or three. Everything he touches seems to turn to ashes.

According to the White House, American filmmaker Michael Moore has just made the “dumbest statement of the year.” And I am inclined to agree with them. It was not only dumb, but it further reveals the hypocrisy and double standards of the loony left.

While Western elites, politicians and media outlets all hyperventilate about the supposed problem of “Islamophobia” in the West, the real truth is this: throughout the world, the most persecuted religious group is Christianity, and it is so often mainly Islam that is doing the persecution.

A government without accountability and checks and balances is not a proper government but a tyranny. In a fallen world, having limited and small government is a basic necessity, given how much power corrupts.

Plenty of good books have been written over recent years looking at the cultural captivity of Christian churches, evangelicalism’s decline, and the rise of religious lefties embracing radical woke policies, pushing identity politics, running with faulty social justice narratives, and so on.
