Heidi Fragar
Heidi lives with her husband Ben and three children just outside of Tamworth, New South Wales. She graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Education and began her teaching career in 2005 in a small school in the rural town of Wee Waa, northwest NSW.
Heidi moved to the UK for just over a year in 2006 and taught in various schools in London on a casual basis before securing a full time position at a Catholic school. In 2007, she moved back to Australia and was married to Ben a couple of years later. She resumed casual teaching at local public schools in the Wee Waa and Narrabri area.
Heidi's teaching career was paused while they started a family. In 2017, the family moved to Tamworth, NSW. She resumed her teaching career for three more years before deciding to leave teaching for good and begin homeschooling.
When she is not teaching herchildren, she can be found outside trying to maintain her enormous garden while the children ride their motorbikes. Ben works from home for most of the year and runs their contract cotton picking business during the cooler months. They attend the local Baptist Church in Tamworth. The family enjoys raising chickens; they have a puppy named Maggie and a rabbit named Chippy.
