Mark Short
Dr Mark Short, Bishop of the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, will be begin his role as the Primate of the Anglican Church of Australia on 1 November 2025. He will be the ,a href = "https://dailydeclaration.org.au/2025/07/23/mark-short-anglican-primate/">first evangelical Anglican national leader since 1982.
Bishop Short was a delegate at the recent Australian Evangelism Roundtable, an event organised by the Canberra Declaration in partnership with other key ministries, to strategise getting the gospel out to every Australian by Pentecost 2033.
