Reuben Strahan
Reuben is from the town of Moree, New South Wales, located about an hour and a half from the Queensland border. He is sixteen, going on seventeen. He and his family are actively involved in serving their community—sharing the gospel and proclaiming the good news of Christ among the local Indigenous people.
Having lived in Moree all his life, Reuben has witnessed many changes in the town—some good, some challenging—but through it all, he has seen that God remains faithful.
One verse that continues to encourage him is Isaiah 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Reuben attends both the North West New South Wales Community Church and the Moree Baptist Church, where he finds great encouragement and fellowship among his mates.
He is currently completing a Certificate III in Carpentry and is now in his second year of training. Reuben’s goal is to become a qualified carpenter—not only to build homes but to build up the Kingdom of God through his work and witness.
