Religious freedom, the ability to worship and evangelise, has been increasingly curtailed in the name of “anti-discrimination” and “inclusion”. Now, with its proposed misinformation laws, the federal government has Australians of faith in its sights in the name of “truth”.

Either the Egyptian king had the freedom to let Israel go, or he did not. If Pharaoh had a choice, then Pharaoh hardened his own heart. But if God hardened Pharaoh’s heart — as the text says — then what choice did Pharaoh have?

Make no mistake – Israel is only being attacked because it is part of God’s plan for the redemption of the whole of humanity, and Satan does not want that. So, we need to step up our prayers and stand with Israel.

God has given us guidelines to live a good, significant, and beautiful life. As an expression of the love between a husband and wife, sex is a gift from the Lord, a gift of beauty and grace.

We expect non-Christians and Christophobes to hate on Christianity. It happens all the time and is par for the course. But it is a bit more surprising when those who claim to be Christians do much the same thing.

The October 7 massacre was exactly 50 years from the attack on Israel on Yom Kippur, October 6-7 in 1973, also a surprise attack. Simchat Torah marks the end of the cycle of reading the Torah and the beginning of the next cycle. So, I see it as a new beginning for the Jewish people.
