Here, I briefly discuss three new books about three amazing Christian women. Two involve rather dramatic conversion stories of Americans who have recently written up their stories, while the third involves an Australian whose new book is equally inspiring.

There is much spiritual warfare in this season. This is evident by assassination attempts, Israel fighting for its survival, fraudulent elections, and abhorrent laws being put forward by godless politicians.  We need to be able to fight, not flesh and blood, but with faith in the heavenlies.

We see all over the world, especially in the West, people being given over to their sin. The sacrilegious and blasphemous display in the Paris Olympics is just one of millions of examples of this.

Any believer who is even somewhat biblically literate and is aware of what is happening in the world today will know perfectly well that the Christian life is not a bed of roses, but a struggle. It is in fact a life of battle and warfare, with good and evil being fought out every single day.

After ridding his country of violent gangs, one world leader is crediting God with his administration’s success. El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele explained how his administration took El Salvador from being the murder capital of the world to the second-safest nation in the Western hemisphere.

Russell Brand’s conversion to Christianity is a celebrity confession with a discernible difference. He was baptised in late April by Bear Grylls. Besides Brand’s updates, it’s the ferocity of heat coming from his haters that gives us good reason not to doubt his sincerity.

In the name of free speech and academic license, woke ideology has infected our universities' hierarchies. This explains why violent and disruptive protests in support of the terror organisation Hamas meet with very little resistance.

Strength and struggle are the means by which we become capable of growing up and gathering character. David, the future king of Israel, was led through a shepherd’s job to acquire skills and character traits which would prove extremely useful to him in later life.

What America once did with its defence of life has now been fully reversed in France. It has become the first nation on earth to make abortion a constitutional right.

The revived church begins to influence and impact the society in which it finds itself. Through its witness, God gives a reformation of society in morality, righteousness, and justice.

Naomi Wolf had been such a key part of the woke, progressive left for so many years, but the Covid Wars made it clear that most of the left was NOT on her side anymore. Or rather, she was no longer on their side.

Many people display apathy, but often, it is really a symptom of not being able to deal with the world in which we live; the problems so evident around us make it easier for them to put their heads in the sand and try not to notice.

I see this tragic war of over two months now as a parable for the war on our values, principles and beliefs. In fact, a war on all that we have enjoyed and taken for granted.
